Batman™: Arkham Knight Performance

Perhaps try playing it before twisting the knife :p

Just fired it up quickly as it had downloaded a 2.4gb patch this evening, everything on high, all the gameworks stuff enabled, 1440p, 66 FPS average with a stock 980Ti - smooth as you like, no judders, frame drops, anything.

That said I found it largely playable before the patch.

Just gonna give this a go when it finishes updating. To be fair that article posted earlier mentions the main issues being related to sli & crossfire which won't be a problem to some people.

Completed it twice to get 200% completion and fired it up yesterday to see what had changed and it now looks much better and runs very well, plus WB have given out previous Batman games as an apology makes no odds to me as I have them all but a nice gesture none the less.

And what if you've got all the games and the season pass?

What should you get then?

Compare using launch day settings then, launch had no 'high' options as well as other things missing. You've gained 3 fps and put all the settings up a notch, not bad surely?

Not convinced anything else has actually been added in that originally wasn't there by default or just a case of shuffling options about as it looks more or less the same to me.

Anyway whether it has/hasn't it is running a hundred times better now, at least they came back to try and get it fixed.

Most games will look near enough the same between two higher settings to be fair, the thing that changes is gpu load and the frames it spits out.

The gameworks effects work nicely now too.

As for freebies, already got the games? Go donate them to someone who doesn't, or sell them...

They are going to be automatically added to the Steam library and not codes so you wont be able to.

I doubt many people purchased the season pass hence the major up roar about getting that instead.
