Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Meh, that trailer pretty much just killed the suspense for the movie. Just outlines the whole movie, they have a fight, the 12 year old Lex Luther creates doomsday and they have to team up.

Agreed. They built up some suspense with the trailers until now, but now they've gone and shown practically the whole movie and it looks cheesy as hell. "Doomsday" looks like Abomination from the Edward Norton Hulk movie.

Yup, that's my issue with trailers\teasers these days they seem to go out of their way to misdirect people, then wonder why they get a backslash if the story their teasers were pointing towards was nothing more than sly editing to paint a different picture.

Up until today we were led to believe it was superman vs batman with wonder-woman showing up somewhere possible to intervene, now its superman vs batman with wonder-woman showing up to for a triple tag team vs doomsday, who as you said doesn't really resemble what it's meant to.

All the hype over the web about how could batman beat superman in this, now that is gonna fizzle out as its obvious the fight doesn't go to those lengths.

I would have been much happier if they had released just the teaser. It built up much more suspense.

This full trailer has basically ruined the film, and shown so much of the plot away its stupid.

I know anyone who follows comics will have a pretty good idea as to what is supposed to go down.

I get the feeling they have taken the batman vs superman storyline and mashed it together with the death of superman story.

I'm just gonna put this here:

Which is essentially what will happen. :(

Did people really think it would actually be Batman v Superman without another threat to bring them together? All the sites I frequent wondered who the 3rd party would be, no one thought it would be a straight up fight between the 2. People had Doomsday nailed for a very long time

Really enjoyed the trailer and still really excited about the movie with 2 exceptions:

1: I don't like the direction they're taking Lex in, I don't think it's got anything to do with Eisenberg it's more the writing.

2: Didn't like Doomsday's head, at all. Body looks fine but as previously stated, he looks too much like Abomination from Marvel.

I'm a bit torn on the inclusion of Doomsday, they're obviously going to tone him down a bit compared to the comics. I can see why they have included him though, in terms of powers and feats he's incredible but he could never be the sole villain in a movie he's far too bland. So toning him down a bit and including him in this with Lex pulling a lot of strings seems like a logical decision. It's much too early to be including people like Brainiac or Darkseid.

Well considering it barely even resembles doomsday besides the colour. It was obvious something was going to happen but the teasers gave the impression of a mind controlled superman, wonder woman was known about for a good while so it seemed like it she would be involved in the fight. Now it just seems the "evil" superman was all part of a dream sequence and those possibilities have just been dumped on.

Could still be good but as i said the marketing has been misleading.

Batman carrying a gun at the end of the trailer - never has such a single point caused such potential annoyance.
Batman doesn't do guns - period.

Batman used guns often in the Dark Knight runs by Frank Miller. Snyder has stated before he will be taking elements from that universe but applying it to his own plot.

EDIT - Just to be clear, he doesn't use them with lethal force. It's often things like rubber bullets etc.

Mind controlled? The superman 'army' gave that no credence imo.

That was a great movie, i really enjoyed it, im glad they decided to release it for free on the internet before the cinemas, finally hollywood are showing some forward thinking!

Well if he was under the control of Luthor the "army" could have been Luthors doing. In one of the comics iirc Superman was under mind control from Luthor while fighting batman so its something that has been done in the past.

I'm sure I can't wait to watch as "I'd hope" there are at least a few nods to the comic but I am struggling to see past Ben Afleck as Batman.
