Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I still think this will be great.

I actually think lex luther will make the movie, I'm still hyped for it but hollywood do need to learn how to build suspense properly rather than just spill their guts. the star wars trailers are a perfect example on how to do this!

I think this has a lot to do with why a lot of films feel such a let down these days. we have always had brain off-grin on mindless movies but you always used to come away thinking it at least surprised you with things, you don't get that a lot now.
 
There's some captain america movie or summat out next year as well right? ;)

Only thing I don't like is the look of doomsday, the rest looks great.

Heard those flying things when Bats is fighting Supes Isis force are something to do with Darkseid?
 
It's a bit like CA:CW, no matter how much they all fight they will kiss and make up either at the end of the film or in time for Infinity War. I expect the same thing will happen here, some big bad will appear and they'll team up and there will be begrudging acceptance.
 
Well after watching one of the later trailers on Youtube i have lost all interest in this. It pretty much gave the whole plot away and turns out its more of a comedy than the gritty, dark film I was hoping for.

Edit: Seems I am not alone lol.

I'm amazed at how people can tell all that about a two and half hour film simply by watching a two minute trailer on Youtube. You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to hold off making snap judgements, go and watch it and then make my mind up.
 
People will rip into this but then go and watch marvel movies which all have the same cookie cutter formula and praise them like they're the best movies ever made.

Seems like 5 years ago with Marvel as Apple and DC as Samsung :D

Well you seem to be in the minority as most people are saying the same that the trailer gave too much away. Its a common problem these days, they give most of the film away in the trailers. We all know now that they team up at some point, in a film called batman VS superman. Trailers are supposed to give an indication of what the film will be like, or what would be the point of them? This one indicates to me that it will be pants, but i'll still give it a watch to make sure.

The film deserves ripped into for casting Ben Affleck as Batman. That's the best way to **** all over your infant franchise.
 
He was fantastic in Gone Girl.

Superhero movies just cant't really be all that dark as they want the younger audience to buy all the related merchandise etc.

We'll just have to see. Can't pass judegement until we've watched it. It is jarring, especially when I am a huge fan of the Nolan Batman and the Burton Batman even. It's another face and another voice to get used to but I think after 20 mins It'll be OK.

Yea, we deserved the small puny couldn't fight Bale instead, god forbid we actually have a Batman that can actually handle himself.
