Hardly, what has DICE done since releasing BF2 to make you think otherwise?
BF3 will be no more a "PC Game" than the PC SKU of BC2.
They promised PC gamers the world with that, didn't even get open dedicated servers.
Are you forgetting that BF2 was a true PC game from the ground up and very few compromises had to be made.
I too doubt that BF3 will surpass BF2 and DICE/EA are going to get into a **** storm over it too.
If BF3 is better than BF2 with the same open gameplay, huge maps and a larger player count which it should have, I will be very shocked.
Our only hope is that although the games carry the same name, the PC and Console SKU's are very different games although I dont think any developer/publisher has done that yet.
The game will be designed to work on a gamepad for a start, that pretty much nerfs it out of the box.
