banksy the thing is i don want to argue with you or anyone 
all i was trying to highlight is amount server costs
how much is needed to maintain so people cant be duped over donate when it isnt needed.
why give money if it isnt needed ? (once your amount has been reached )
if you like donate to my help a banana appeal it costs 30 quid to maintain but im happy to take more donations just incase i dont make the total in 2020

You should have email matt about it. Still you haven't given a good reason why people should donate to other servers they don't want.

The point is nobody was being in any danger of being duped, the goal anount was there from the start, if people over donate thats down to them, it is not somthing that should reflect bad on matts hard work.
Totally agree with you there are plenty of good servers out there for sure, servers will always have there own following as the familiarty (is that a word) means a lot to people so nothing wrong with helping a good thing keep going.

The disagreements over LtMatts server and donations have prompted this post.
The server hasn't been running for long, but it's very successful and a pleasure to play on. The web site is but a few days old. £96 donations in the first few days is a testament to this success. However £96 today doesn't = £96 tomorrow nor next week or next month. The likelyhood is that the initial rate of donation will falll away over time.
In the meantime LtMatt has been honest and upfront with everyone by publishing the donation level on his site. Both he and Kunoichia have put hard work into getting the thing going as well as it has. £96, hell even the 1 year £2400 forecast isn't much of a return on investment is it?
I'd suggest that this potato is dropped now before LtMatt gets upset and gives up on the whole idea.
BTW I haven't donated yet but I intend to when the funds start falling, to help him keep it going - thats what donation is all about after all.

I can't stand the fast vehicle respawn servers myself. Nothing worse than shooting down an enemy plane or using a Javelin on a lased helicopter and watching the pilot futilely drop flares amd then getting the lovely explosion only to ha e the same chopper up almost instantly. When a vehicle is destroyed there should be a 'reward' for the destroyer and a penalty for the destroyed.
Ahh, remember playing bfbc2 on your server a lot.
After the **** they caused me in bc2, moving me and then kicking me to make room for a member (when there were 10 spaces empty) i wouldn't join that server if it was the only one still alive, and thats the cT* server btw, young n00b admins

there never has been young admins .. bc2 or otherwise . You will be hard pushed to find a admined server nowadays but we have someone on most of the time .

Just had a good few rounds on Matts server, but gotta say, it got a bit boring because of you Dg. You're a bit of a hypocrite mate...you're always going on about 'skills', and how the SMAW/320 are noobtubes, and how HC is so easy. Then you spent all of Metro spamming a 320, all of Seine with nothing but a SMAW (33 kills you said wasn't it? Because you were bored of playing properly?). Then Bazaar, constant M320 again. I wouldn't mind so much but by the time Bazaar came around the server was only half full so it would have been nice to have some proper gun fights, not just go straight for the usual cluster**** of explosives.
I wouldn't usually moan, but practice what you preach fella....yeah you might be bored, but some of us aren't, so have a thought for the people who are trying to get a decent gunfight out of the game, eh?
