I find it odd that in the patchlog you see so much gameplay stuff but NONE graphics / performance related :S

Because it already looks and performs amazingly?

On the Xbox and PS3 maybe, but there are enough problems on the PC for certain configurations. I myself have corrupt textures, flashing textures, stuttering with vsync off, bf3 shutting down and there are a LOT of people with similar issues. You can work around them but that doesn't mean there are no problems :)

My BF3 runs flawlessly, but you do need the machine to be able to do it.

i5 2500k @4ghz, 16gb DDR3 and 680 GTX here, runs like a dream.

very high headshot ratio...but dont think he cheats....just plays for it.

B/S.

That player obviously cheats. What he probably does though is switches the cheat on/off to try and disguise it.

Everybody should click the little exclaimation symbol on his profile and report him for cheating. He could end up having his stats wiped.

I think they should just perma ban his account and key, but only the key is also fine, so he has to buy the game again.

Is Karkand not a very well optimized map? I get weird fps on it at times. Open areas with nothing going on (like the railway area) and the fps is fluctuating in the low 40's. Other areas (and I'm not talking about alleys, deeper parts of the open city) with tons of damage, building debris all over the screen and lots of players it's solid 60. Any other map it's solid 60.

I'm using Catalyst first preview 12.1 with Cap 1 from end of last month.

B2K maps seem to need a lot more power than the stock maps. I get the same of karkand, I just dropped everything to low, still get a drop, but not so low. There was a big thread on battlelog about them, even people with top systems seemed to be getting drops, especially there and looking to the centre of oman, so not sure if there is some sort of problem with them or they just really need a lot of power.

Runs pretty well on my i5 2500k, 8GB ram and 1GB HD4870 to be honest.

I've just discovered a bit of a liking for the M39 with an ACOG as my sniper rifle of choice for the time being though - easy to aim in close maps and seems to headshot like nothing I've used before.

Also, mouse has arrived in the UK. Should be here tomorrow - woooo!

The messages ("too heavy to sprint with", "item dropped") suggest having to collect something and carry it - possible new game mode?

Also loving the DAO-12 - feels like a USAS might without being quite as annoying given that it actually takes time to reload.
