Due to work I am not online the same time as my mates who played BF2.
Also I have not tried my Plantronics USB headset will work on Vista !
I should really sort this out for BF3.

when you request your profile it schedules a profile update for you, it'll happen in a few days.

Yea I actually logged into BF2 just after posting that and the stats had updated and so had BF2S

I imagine it similar to crysis 2 video. Really its the small details that'll mean most, hopefully there is lots but bf3 has a lot more competetion in this category that bf2 never did.

Screwing up bf3, and the fact they stopped other projects to focus

there is a high probability that steam wont be able to get the BF3 licence. EA\dice wont allow it since EA is the best place to get a digital copy - Like battlefield 2142. Some games need to be left on EA DLM so ea can get the profits too.

In case you hadn't noticed, there's been a whole Battlefield game since 2142, and it's on Steam.
