Battlefield 4 - Performance FIXES Thread (Good or Bad)

Yep, 3570k -3770k and now on a 4770k. Needed the first i7 as i use sli. Unfortunately it was a woeful clocking chip. 1.34v for 4.5 ghz and still unstable.

hehe just played a game since the update on ultra settings

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
20036, 272844, 52, 125, 73.434

nice increase :D

Below Spec

Trying to Run on ultra with everything maxed out getting 20-30FPS max. My 6950 just not copeing well

think its time for a new card and ssd

Only had a quick run, but no noticeable change here either.

1080p Ultra/4xAA = AVG 65fps

Still get the occasional stutter that takes it to low/single figures for a second.

Ah well, wait for final product and see what happens. Perhaps grab win8 if it's still an issue.

Patch seems a little worse for me in terms of lag!

I also HATE it when it messes up the settings and you've got to change them again

I've even unistalled BF4 and reinstalled. No change.

Settings at medium (1920x1080) on FX6300, 2GB 7850.

Frames: 9026 - Time: 343141ms - Avg: 26.304 - Min: 0 - Max: 55

Also, CPU usage is off the scale.

I'm no CPU expert but isn't BF4 actually overclocking my CPU (I'm not)? It says max speed 3.5 GHz yet it's been running at 3.64GHz. What does all that mean?

Just patched & getting slightly worse performance, even with same settings.

Also, it's not as smooth as before so not sure if certain things in the graphics menu have been turned ON.

Updating the beta now, i take it pb needs updating as well after this? Will report back any improvement/decrease in performance.

Origin seems to be downloading very slowly, highest ive got so far is 30kbps. It's also crashed a few times downloading this update.

I just played after the patch and I can run the Ultra pre-set at 1920x1200 and getting 55-60 fps constantly.

Im on Win 7 btw....improved massively on my end.
