im now torn between the 22" and the 24"
at current ive got an older 17" flat panel square style not wide screen, at work ive got a 19" wide screen and its massive compared to mine so wondering 22" or 24"?

Considering how much the 24" led versh cost, I'd say go it, you won't regret it

my monitor is the only thing i havent upgraded. now most whites/yellows and greys come out the same shade.
hopefully they have them in stock on payday!
i guess i could squeeze the 24" onto my desk !!!!

Those monitors look great, does anyone notice any buzzing/whining noise coming from them? I've had bad luck with monitors recently that make annoying noises so I'm looking for a good but silent monitor

not noticed any buzzing on mine at all and Ive played with the brightness from 0-100

For the extra coule of quid you would have to be stupid to not go for the LED

Anyone got 1 of these and had any dodgy pixels ? Very tempted, but im really anal about the pixels, would be nice to hear theres a good chance i wont get 1 with said stuff

And is the LED backlight version worth the extra tenner ?

With all the benefits you have over lcd, for an extra tenner is a bargain for an led

no dead pixels on either of mine,

and yeah I tried to get the LED version, but when I went into OCUK to pick up my bits they told me they were out of stock on the LED ones despite 10+ being shown as in stock on the website, so I got the normal ones and very happy I am with them too

I bought the led version last week, got it last friday. I love it so far. Coming from a 17" monitor to this is just awesome. I'm running it straight from the box, the brightness is on 100 and it seems wicked to me. Been gaming on it and its just great, really pleased with it! Oh, and no dead pixels for me.

I purchased the G2420HDBL, arrived on Saturday - all i can say is that the quality is unbelievable... I'm just waiting on my new graphics card next week to put it to a full test!

btw, reduce the brightness LOL
