BenQ XL2730Z Freesync Owners Thread

I managed to convince myself, whilst cooking dinner, that I didn't need a new screen....

But now I want a new screen again.

But Crossfire doesn't work with FreeSync?

Driver this month.. TBH I been a big fan of Crossfire and even bought Crossfire for the last couple Gens. After using FS : 1440p on a single 290x at stock am blown away how much it keeps games running smooth.. So much am now thinking going single 390x and only adding another when needed.

Guys quick question, realised that 295X2 has only mDP connections and the monitor is coming with normal size DP (yes?). What cable or adapter do you propose to buy and is compatible with DP1.2? (and adaptive sync)

or the adapter that came with the 295X2 (mDP to DP) is sufficient?

Yes, any simple passive adaptor is fine. The signal itself is identical, it's just the connector head size that is different.

I use/run crossfire all the time and i would still buy this monitor reguardless of Freesync ,At the offer price this weekend i wish i could get 2 more on the desk .;)

Could someone do me a big favour and measure the monitor at its lowest height position, from the desk to the top.

I'm limited on space and currently game on a 24" but hopefully could I squeeze this monitor in.

Sorry I don't use the supplied stand .:(

Result, my wife has been feeling very tired today and just said that if I take her turn washing up today she'll give me the extra £150 I need to get one of these screens while they're on offer.
Can't really refuse an offer like that so washing up has been done and monitor has been ordered :D
