Best youtubers to follow?

Apologies if it has been posted before (Did a quick scan of page 2 but didnt see it) but one of the better reviewers I follow on Youtube is ACG (Angry Centaur Gaming)

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK9_x1DImhU-eolIay5rb2Q

He tries to be honest and even goes so far as buying copies of the games he reviews to give away to followers and also has a simple review system- "Buy, Wait for a Sale, Rent, Never Talk About It Again rating scale is easy enough that a screaming youtuber can understand it"

Another shout out for SovietWomble. I love Cyanide, the Indian guy he plays with.

I also like AuzzieGamer. His stuff is pretty great. Swears as much as you'd expect an Australian to though so not for those who are easily offended...

used to watch the odd SnCGames videos, can be funny in places.

Although, think they've been a bit quiet recently as one of them had a kid.

Jim Sterling, he's a bit marmite
ACG, the 'the bearded shaman of gamin'
Smosh games, only for the excellent 'Honest game trailers'
Total Biscuit
Worth a Buy
Angry Joe, only the odd good review recently :(
ObsidianAnt, seems to know his Elite Dangerous stuff.

For watching games I'd highly recommend Gopher. His specialty is modding Fallout and Skyrim, but he has some great 'Lets Plays' of other games. Genuinely a nice person to listen to.

I enjoyed his Clear Sky & Shadow of Chernobyl playthroughs, though I'm still wondering whether he will ever get around to trying out Call of Pripyat. I think I read somewhere that he supposedly said he wouldn't be playing it, but of course that could be incorrect.

+1 for LGR. :)

Bumpy McNecro

...and?

...VideoGameDunkey is usually entertaining :)

Thank you for this one, he's had me in absolute tears! His game boot ads and vice city video was fantastic.

I tell you who's completely dropped in quality, TotalBiscuit. His views have completely dropped and his titles are flat out annoying "I WILL NOW TALK ABOUT NO MANS SKY." Behold everyone, our savior is about to speak, let us all bask in the glory of this champion amongst us mere mortals.

He's had a lot going on to be fair. I'm surprised he continued doing it half the time.

I seem to watch less and less and think the only thing I have looked forward to recently is Sips playthrough of This is the Police.

The type I have gone off of completely is the TB/Jim Sterling type. I used to like them but the whole White Knight, we are doing this all for the consumer nonsense just drove me mad in the end. I feel they are now just making a lot of money by going out of their way to bash and nit-pick the tiniest thing and in some cases, probably damaging someone's living unfairly. All for us of course. They are also massive egomaniacs and opinionated (in the wrong way).

I tend to stick to one off videos on games now to get an idea like Northern Lion.

Just watched a couple of recommendations in the thread and the problem is that everyone is just the same. Acting up some hyper happy enthusiasm that feels false.

He used to receive a few negative comments here and there, which takes a saint to brush off and use constructively but the good content creators need it to understand where they're going wrong. Instead he started lashing out at them and made things so bad he now turns off all comments in his videos which anyone would do if they had toxic comments about their malignant cancer. Unfortunately he's now surrounded by a Reddit community of defenders and you can tell it's really gone his head and he has this self righteous persona lately which just makes me absolutely cringe.

Shame really as I viewed him as one of the best reviewers out there for such a long time.
