BF3 vs MW3

BF3 is the game for me, no way im paying for mw3, overpriced console teen crap

I love the CoD series for their SP storylines, but when it comes to MP; BF3 takes the cake for me.

IW really need to release the next CoD with a brand new engine because the last few games feel like expansion packs.

got both

bf3 i enjoy for playing with groups and the long battle.

cod mw3 is straight shoot kill fun when i cant be bothered to trek 15 mile to be killed by a lowtard hiding in a bush

both do there jobs nicely.

so i get both and am happy.

Got both...

BF3 for slower, team based gameplay

MW3 for fast arcadey style gameplay

Two very different games.

I bought both and although BF3 is really frustrating at times I am really enjoying both games

BF3 pros :-

Looks amazing
Spawn on squadmates
It really feels as though you are part of a team
Feels more "epic"
I have no problem with the controls

MW3 pros :-

Earning killstreaks,
You can jump on and know you can have a great full game in around 10 mins,
Much better single player
Way more game mode variety
More stable online (it seems this way from the few hours I have put into each)

i have got both now. paid a combined 43 quid so havent paid over odds i dont think

bf3 so far is great but as said before has a brutal learning curve but worth sticking at. i havent touched sp

have mw3 downloading now and really looking foward to sp storyline

TBH if someone told me they wanted one of each of those types of game i would advise them to get MW2 over MW3! you can pic it up much cheaper now.

In other words, i agree with people saying about having 2 different types of games but a better question would be MW2 vs MW3, especially if you already have MW2

I have BF3 limited edition and it is going to become extremely epic when the re-makes of the BF2 maps are released near Christmas.
Karkand and Sharqi Peninsula are/were epic. Gulf of Omen was meh. Wake Island was almost always crap as the US would never get a base (had the aircraft carrier as an uncap).

From what I have read so far it seems MW3 is just a tarted up MW2 (MW2 was very good though). BF3 has plenty of flaws but one thing it isn't is a polished up BC2 (and cetainly not BF2 as it looks really dated now!), it is an entirely new game.

The only MW I have played online is the first one. To be honest I find the MW series single player very involving and very good, the BF3 one isn't the best (only a few hours into it) and the BC2 one was naff.

BF3 makes me rage
MW3 makes me laugh

If i want to snipe ill play BF3 (bad rehash of bf2 not as good)
If i want to run around like a retard with throwing knives i play MW3 (rehash of MW2 and Cod4 lol...)

Both games were a complete let down - but both playable.

Both Genres are complete and utter turd now.

thing is lobbies on mw2 were utter lag fest i have played a lot of lobbies today on mw3 and they have been very smooth in comparison.

doesnt matter how good a game is if the lag is as bad as it was in mw2 :p

Played COD MW1 until COD MW2 came out, only played MW2 less than 6 months, all the perks and killstreaks felt bolted on, unlike MW1.
If MW3 is like a DLC for MW2 then i'll give it a miss.
If COD MW3 was more like MW1 then i would HAVE to get it.
People waiting until MW3 goes down in price, dont get your hopes up, i remember checking how much MW1 was 2nd hand a few months after MW2 was released and it was still £25-30.
By the time it reaches a low enough price for myself, everybody would have prestiged countless times already :)
BF 3 will keep me happy for a long time to come.
