Im just waiting for the floods of threads 'G80, it won't fit in my case' :D

It will fit in the case but its way to long.

Seriously thinking of the refresh now.

This reeks of 7900 GTX duo and refined 7950 GX2

Ocuk are gonna run outta stock of the Akasa 62 me thinks !

I did say this the other day, and its the same case in the picture even in my Akasa my 7800GTX 512megger came almost to the point it was touching the hdd units!

I think if they start making a longer card they really are gonna find an issue where it will no longer fit the ATX case. This is gonna be worser then the FX/Dustblower case ;)

We need a new form factor EATX Cases (extra long cases) ;)

I can see another GX2 coming here, remember when they first came around they were those huge 7900 GTX Duo's that didn't work, then not long after they were re-designed into the GX2's, what a ****** thats gona be if the G80 turns out like that, all those ppl lashing out £500, then about a month later the re-designed one comes out like the GX2 and costs about £350-£400. :D

An ATX board is 9 1/2" wide. Just scaling that pic from the PCI-e sockets, it looks to be just short of 11"

hehe I was just making a joke from the TV Show Scrubs mate, may I say a very bad attempt actually. But hey ho. ;)

*Ahem* aye the cards like 27cm. :)

And when there are these revised 8850GX2s, people will still be buying the R600! :D

I have to ask. Is an 8800 GTX likely to fit in a case with an Asus P5W DH Deluxe, two probable sata HDDs in line with the graphics card and a rather large case like my Antec Plusview 1080amg (iirc)? Is a GTS a more likely prospect? I hear that the GTX is something up to 28cm long and the GTS 23cm (again iirc) - is this true?
