Yes we know, but according to the fanboys its a single card, your gona get shot down for saying that, trust me, weve had all this before about it being 2x cards, they still maintain its single, your gona set them off again about that again now. :(

You've said it's a single card when people are saying about getting SLI.

I know it's a single card solution but it's still jsut two 7900GTs strapped together so it's 2 G71 GPUs that don't perform as well at the G80...
 
Um yes, I have no problem with the apparent GX2 contradiction. Having paid once for it and replacing an XTX in the same position. I still considered it to be a single card with two pcb's, each with a dedicated and yet separate GPU.

Hopefully it doesn't perform as well as the G80, but we'll have to wait until its released and the proper reviews/benchies are out to find out. :)

Agreed, always happens, R600 is supposed to be around when Vista comes, thats about 4 months away yet, Nvidia are bound to have the refresher in the pipeline for then, as 4 months is a long time in graphics cards. :)
 
How many people on this thread are going to be buying a G80 next Wednesday I wonder.

And is anyone going to be buying 2 plus a 680i board ?

Im not dissing it, i was saying about those benchies not being right (dailytech), look at quake 4 in 16x12, the G80 only 65fps, i don't believe that for a second as the GX2 gets 130+, Prey only 80 something on the G80, GX2 gets over 116, they don't add up, thats why im awating the proper reviews/benchies when the cards are released and the NDA is lifted, also them benchies i posted about the GTS looking no better than the GX2, if they show the GTS matching, and in some cases getting beat of the GX2, how come the Dailytech article makes out the GTX gets trounced, as 65 to 130+, 80 odd to 116+ is trounced, they just don't add up. :)
