All you get is a bare card in an anti-static bag.
Please help me with this one as i'm utterleywhen i bought my cards they where new at that time i had a BFG 8800GTS 320 and within 3 months the 512 came out which meant i could not source another 320 for SLi ah well i thought i'll sell this one and buy a pair of 512's so i did.I cannot be held responsible for technological advancements and also problems which occur to these technologies through no fault of my doing.I contacted yourself because you are held with high regard from what i have read in this thread. As i stated i would be more than happy to get the same model back if it is new.As i should explain i have an asus P5N32-E SLi and the bios chip died my retailer give me a new board before my eyes.We ship both. I believe that the comment that I made before was in regards to a specific card, which was new at the time and the reason those cards would be new not re-manufactured. It all depends on how old the card is. If it is not being made anymore, chances are the card has been reworked. I wish all the replacement cards we shipped could be new, it just can't work like that in all cases. But we do have the lifetime (or 10 year) warranty so it should cover any issues you guys might have with the replacements, if any. Does this clear things up?

I've just returned an 8800GTX H2OC and got a GTX 280 H2OC back within 5 working days, so you really can't knock that...
please could you enlighten me why you made this claim but yet you say:
As far as a replacement for your 8800GTS512 goes you will get something as good or better - so it would have as much RAM, processing units and shaders so it should be something like a 9800GTX I would have thought.
According to your post you not only got as good or better you imply you got a different league of card. All i can assume is that you traded up and if this is the case then you should make it clear,if you RMA'd your 8800GTX oc you could mention this also the reason behind my thinking is 8800GTX according to official BFG website never did a liquid cooled version and also the 8800GTS oc has the same 128 stream processors it has a faster core clock it has a faster shader clock it has a higher fill rate than the 8800GTX oc and if as you claim you got a GTX 280 oc This is still slower than the 8800GTS but has 240 stream processors so either you are b**********g or you just thought no one would notice.
Hi all (and FAO Jeff)
I guess I am very unlucky with my BFG cards. I had to RMA an 8800GTX and a GTX280. One from my sons machine and the second my card. These where received in the UK depot just over a week ago and since then the status on both hasnt shifted. Today as I post this is my sons birthday and with xmas fast approaching we are getting a bit nervous that we have bought him quite a few PC Titles but have no working comp.
As I have never had cause to use an RMA service and after stumbling across this I'm unsure how long the process typically takes and what u expect back in return.
Finding Jeffs contact details in this forum has been good and Jeff I have emailed you the relevant details in the hope it can be progressed in time for Xmas.
All i can suggest to you is there is a phone number in this thread for the wales department i phoned them this morning and low and behold it was shipped out this morning

Can i ask you why you have decided to jump on my back when i only state what is within this thread and that i have not caused offence to BFG or any other company and as for amazing support i will not no this as of yet to be honest though although i have had responses from jeff there have been no significant amazement of support and as the saying goes "you can please all the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but never all the people all of the time".I did not see you intervene earlier in this thread when legal proceedings where concerned with a similar statement you gave me.
Never said you did, did i? or did i just strike a nerve within you..
i commented on your negative dissatisfied tone with every post you have made since joining up to the forums
Now leave this here and get on with your life, the internet is the internet lets not get pety, this thread has a purpose
