Allen keys and a 6mm or 8mm closed end spanner. Think ist a 6mm with hayes though.

Got plenty of Allen keys ranging all sizes.

When you mean a closed end spanner, thats just a normal spanner right with the ring end?

Yeh.........was trying to work out what the **** i call them at work. :o

Just so you put it over the nipple and then put the tubing over the nipple, makes it easier to open and close(like a lever) rather than dropping the spanner mid bleed. :o (i have never did that myself :p )

Hehe, I get you, thanks for the advice ;)

Got some new pads (hope they are a pair lol) and bleed kit on the way.

:)

EDIT: The bleed kit is out of stock :(

Every front shifter you can get is a 3 speed. All you need to do is screw the H limit screw in so you dont overshift.

I guess your gonna buy the adapter + that chain device then as that wont fit right on if you go for ISCG.

yep my list:
iscg 05 adapter
Blackspire Dew Lite Double Ring
Park Tool BB Tool - BBT22
Park Tool Crank Extractor

+ a new e type bb for the chain alignment thing if i need it.. what do you think?

Looks good,i just hope that a 113 axle length will work...in 90% sure it will. :o

make that 100% and its a deal.
that whole lot comes to just over £100 bargain :o lol. well the e13 cg was 99 pounds by itsself but this blackspire looks better becuase you can have two chain rings :D...

Well,i dont know what size axle you currently have. If its a 113....then a new 113 mm E type would be roughly the same chainline...the BB will be further to the right because of the E typle bracket so the left hand crank nearer the frame which should be adjusted using the axle(when it was made) so that will bring the right hand crank back into line.

I honestly cant say for certain if it will work fine, having never fitted them etc. Worst comes to worst then i think your chainline would be ever so slightly out but i dont think you will run into trouble with chainrings rubbing on the E type plate(like my mate is having with his truvativs).

ok thanks. you know with all my bodging antics on this one will I be able to take it to a bike shop for them ot pic up the peices ?

collisster

Yeh they would be able to fix it..at a cost of course.

I think in talking out my arse...if the BB doesnt have chainrings rubbing justnow...then it wont do it just because you place a piece of metal between the bottom bracket and frame. You are effectively moving your crankset to the right slightly....which 'should' be altered with the axle length(seing as your buying an Etype bb) so it should be fine. Thats IF your frame came with a 113mm axle i think anyway.(i assume it does, most ISIS/splined cranks use 113mm as standard)
