Uh this is ******* annoying. Go to double check my order and the seatpost that i picked has been discontinued in my size and Black Pro2s are out of stock.

It got me thinking,i think its a hope Xc hub at the rear but it cant be because you cant convert that to 12mm bolthrough :confused:

so if i assume its an old bulb(doesnt say pro2 on it) then i think i should get a blue front hub to match the rear one or should i just stick with black?

The seatpost i found on ebay for £7 more than crc in total. I want/need one with lots of adjustment as the bighit seattube is pretty slack.

and too the guy with spokes missing a decent bike shop should be able to put 2 new ones in for no more than a fiver

id just read some guides and try and learn yourself though

Buying replacement spokes is a total minefield. How do I work out which type of spoke I need ?

Wheel : Mavic X117 Disc, 26", 32h
Hub : Shimano M-475L disc, 32h
current spoke : 1.8mm stainless

The options are :

252 Black or Silver for 26" MTB
254 Black or Silver for 26" MTB
256 Black or Silver for 26" MTB
258 Black or Silver for 26" MTB
260 Black or Silver for 26" MTB
262 Black or Silver for 26" MTB
264 Black or Silver for 26" MTB
266 Black or Silver for 26" MTB
268 Black or Silver for 26" MTB

Ah,just below the elbow of the spoke. Thats where all of mine have snapped.

Almost feel guilty for posting mine having seen some of the bikes on here.

Got this about a month ago, haven't been on a bike for years and extremely unfit, so I thought anything has to be better than nothing right?

It's doing the job anyway, losing weight and feeling fitter.

I've got a Rayleigh slinger on the back and a crud catcher on the front.

I think i would care if i coudlnt brake for whatever reason.

I find it hard using only one brake....but im too used to using two brakes.

if your having fun and keeping fit then dont worry

only thing people here would have said is to of not gotten rear suspension

the "bounce" of it actually makes it harder to pedal , which is maybe actually a good thing if you want to get fitter quicker

To be honest I've not really noticed a bounce from the rear, but then the route I take isn't very bumpy.

It was only a cheap bike, for what I use it for I think it does the job

You need to measure it using a spoke measuring ruler thigny. Or try and measure as accurately as possible.

measure one of the spokes that are already in with a tape lol

is it a front or rear wheel ? on a rear mtb wheel the spokes could even be different lengths on the left side to the right side because of the dish it needs

there a good spoke length calculator on the dt swiss website that ive used succesfully before when building wheels

Lovely bikes. It looks to have a really long front end compared to the rear end. How does it ride?

I ordered my saddle,seat post and pedals today. £110 from CRC and then £100 after the discount. Think i will ride my brothers bike to glasgow tomorow to buy a front hub and arrange a wheel build.

Just looked back at my CRC account details,my first purchase for this build was back in november last year. :eek:
