So.. If a guy was after a new stem, and wasn't on a budget.. What would he go for? I'm only used to budget shopping.

Atm I'm looking at either Hope or Renthal Duo. Which would you choose out of the 2? Looking for absolutely no longer than 50mm.

I was looking for that Stem on Supercows site, but couldn't find it - If I could find one to buy, I'd buy the stem + handlebar together.

Just managed to grab a 2012 Trek 6300 with an upgraded RS Recon Race fork on the fleabay for £350 - transferable warranty on both fork and bike and seemingly very little wear from the pictures. Did I do good?

Pretty excited, gunna be a huge upgrade from my 2010 Rockrider 5.2!

There is no reason really, but all I've done is buy to a budget - And I for once, find myself in a position that I can buy whatever I want, rather than having to stick to a tight budget.

Same reason to have a fit wife over an ugly one.
Both does (to more or less an extent) do the same job while riding them, one's just better to look at while doing so, and to show off in front of your friends.

You'll also find that the curves are in the right places and a pleasure to hold.

Looks like Fochabers....or however you spell it!

Went to the local dh place today, never been anywhere so muddy! Tyres were caked in, I was caked in it. Also showed me how much of a phaggot I am.
