Ghetto hose routing as of last week.

Got my rear brake back from silverfish but still need to fix the front as it is still pish.

I was going to sell the bike but I think it'll be a 'forever' bike and I'll go 1x10 and upgrade things along the way.

I miss France :(

Nice one! When will you have it and which model did you go for?

Still waiting to hear about mine, but I'm struggling to get any feedback from them. I've been asking all week for prices for the 1x11 options but I've not had a response. Slightly frustrating since they've already taken payment.

I think they overwhelmed with enquires about the Aeris but that doesn't really help me.

Email - David Cutts [email protected], I was emailing someone else to begin with but he was a bit 'off' or maybe just lost in translation with me. But I asked if the height of the sweep could be raised and the orginal guy got a bit touchy. Guy above emailed X-Fusion and got warren permission to do so. I was merly asking so I could raise it when I upgraded next year.

I also had payment issues with it, due to being abroad and he held the bike for me whilst I sorted it. Was answering me within minutes most days. Got the last yellow in stock too! Which was lucky as otherwise I wouldn't have had it for Scotland.

Went for the AMX, with carbon bars and cassette extension. If I don't need the extension, I'll just put it on the pitch, which would be handy.

Though, is it just me that sees 1x11 as a waste of money?

O yeah shipped on Wednesday. Site now says early October for new stock?

I've been dealing with Ben and he's been great up until this week. I think he handles the social media and forum interaction so perhaps he's just super busy with the launch of the Aeris.

1x11 may or may not be a waste, but I still want to know the prices. The Hope 40T Expander that I originally ordered will help with the climbs, but part of me doesn't want a "hacked" approach.

Guess I won't be getting mine next week then :(

Did they not tell you the 24th?

25th, but he did say that he was at the mercy of customs.

Think I'm going to sell my 2014 Giant Trance 27.5 1 that I only bought 2 weeks ago. I'll rock the Bird Zero for a while and perhaps test out the Aeris later in the year.

Went to Cannock Chase today. The monkey trail is AWESOME. Had so much fun despite all the climbing.

Bearings gone

Hey all. The bearing/bush has gone in the seatstay to chainstay pivot on the driveside of my Nukeproof Mega AM 275. Its only around 8 months old and to be honest hardly ridden, is it something which would be covered by warranty? I bought the bike with ubyk which are a good 2 1/2 hour drive away so I cant really just pop in to sort it.

Well Ubyk emailed me back and said it isnt covered under warranty :-(

Shoulda got a Canyon again!

Not sure why you'd expect bearings to be covered under warranty in any situation? How are they to know how much you've ridden the bike, even if you tell them it's not much?

New forks ordered for my mega, 55 CR's. Going to get a new crankset and mech, be brave and go 1x10.

Dude, it's just wear and tear. Replace the bearing, for a few quid - done.

Picked up my new bike today!! :D

That looks lovely in the red, nice spec too.

Spitty's had a bit of love.

Finally got around to opening the fork up, and as I suspected, it was bone dry.
Seals hadn't been greased and the air side didn't have any oil in it (making the fork feel far too linear as a result)

Got the new DBinline on it, and it's a lovely match. Also got fed up with rubbish BBs, so stole a ceramic one :p

New Specialized Grid casing tyres (Endurobro specific, so they are thicker than the standard trail ones) Purgatory rear and Butcher front.
