The Expander is seamless, shifting into the gear is just like any other.
The gap between 19 to 15 is noticeable and would be an issue on the road but on the trail it's easy to handle.

Someone posted a link for an option to buy a 16 cog to replace the 15 back a few pages.

Thanks. It's always good to get real-world feedback :)

Thanks :) My biggest fear with eBay is that the buyer files a dispute with PayPal because the item wasn't delivered, despite the fact that I've stated "collection only".

10% final valuation + 3.4% PayPal fees really take the **** too.

Some idiot won my commencal on ebay after i said it was cash on collection then says he will pay via paypal on collection. No chance, such a minefield using paypal let alone paypal and no proof of collection. Avoid.

Guy who bought it in the end was from belguim and bank transfered the money over

It just works, not even had a single chain drop :)

I went straight into some the best trail centers in the UK on my new build with zero issues, apart from scaring myself with no brakes as they bedded in :p

Thanks guys. Looking forward to getting everything sorted out and just focus on riding.

Does anyone ride at Swinley Forest often? It's my nearest trail centre. Managed to do the red + blue trails on Sunday in 01hr52min which I was pretty chuffed with. My friend did it in 01h50min the day before on his e-bike but he claims he could do it in 90min. ******* :P

You ever been to Cannock? - it's a pretty good trail to ride with a few black technical options.

Yeah I went on Saturday. The Monkey Trail is insanely good! Loads of dropoffs and technical bits, but there were also a lot of people on the trail.

yeah brendawgggggg

yep swinners is a good lap - not insane tech or anything though

Swinley is cool but it's very flat. Whilst I don't necessarily like climbing, you kinda have to go up to come down.

What a run from Andreu Lacondeguy, a bit dissapointed he chose to sit out his 2nd run, i was looking forward to seeing him hit that line again, but i dont blame him at all, so happy to see him finally take it though!!!

Zinks line was mental, 360 off that drop was insane, shame he flatted on his 2nd run, i think he had plans for more action in the lower half of the course.

those two really are progressing the sport to new levels, shame Aggy got injured, i think he was the only person that could have challenged Lacondeguy.

Wonder if anyone can tell me what I need to buy?

I've broke my bike today, I think a fairly chunky branch got pulled into my back wheel, It snapped a spoke and my rear mech is now at an interesting angle.

How do I know what spoke's to order, CRC say they are "Spokes: SAPIM 2.0/1.7/2.0 BLACK" but when I then look at spokes there is nothing that matches that info - what do I order?

The mech is a sram X9, can I replace it with this:

Thanks for any advice.

Chances are you've only bent the mech hanger and not the mech itself. Can you see where it's bent? Post some photos if you're unsure.

For the spokes, you need to know the length.
