Back last night from a week of riding in Colorado.

Work sucks.

But still...Off to New Zealand for two weeks of riding at the end of the month :D

No worrys dude, was good to meet you and just good to get out riding. No apologies needed good fun was had either way dude! Speed will come for yourself, just more confidence is needed which will come!

Deffo hit me up for some BPW action dude! :)
 
Crc messed up my order again!!

Tempted to re-order and just return it when and if it eventually shows up! Anywhere else that sells the ixs helmet and vxi elements?

How's the Bird order progressing? I'm giving them until Monday to get back to me (I was promised I'd hear something yesterday and didn't) and then I'm cancelling. It's taken almost 2 weeks to answer my questions and I'm losing my patience.

Cheers bud, worth every penny to me and I love it so far!

The shop I got it from has just ordered the Slash 9.9 for stock! Bike Porn right there!

On a slightly other note, just been out for first little blast on a road bike... real scary hitting corners at 30mph plus in the wet!

You're definitely a speed demon! Wish I could've taken a video of you hitting that jump that you did 2 or 3 times today. That was sweet :D

Just sold the bike I was riding today. Guy is coming to collect it on Friday so now I'm currently bike-less until the hardtail arrives (or I cancel the order :P).

I can feel your pain, was told it would be shipped today. I had to email them to ask if it had or not, as obviously will have to arrange someone to be in for taking delivery (which isn't an issue). But funnily enough it's not been shipped, and been told it will be tomorrow with 24 hour delivery. So should be here Friday. If it's not I'll be annoyed because I could've went with blue.

I also may have to cancel my order depending on when I'm leaving Scotland, so hopefully it's here Friday!

It's very surprising to me that the owners of the company don't do everything in their power to make the customer feel special. It's their bread and butter. Their baby.

Yeah the first guy I spoke to didn't fill me with confidence, and came off a bit weird towards us. I put it down to a loss in translation though. Was still quite irrated.

Shall find out tomorrow though :)

As much as I love my freerider VXI elements, and still wear them - not sure I can recommend them. They seem to be wearing through the sole awfully quickly.
The other thing, is that it's pretty dreadful in the wet.

The problem with them in the wet is, that they keep all the water inside - when I rode BPW in the rain, I felt like jesus walking on water the whole time. It was exasperated because I had waterproof socks on.

The new Impact VXI is hopefully better at letting the water out while you;re riding. Not had the opportunity to test it in the wet yet. For what it's worth, the new Impacts weigh bugger all.

Stout SL Hubs

Hi , does anyone know if 2014 Specialized Stout SL 29 hubs are actually DT swiss,
Trying to convert my 135/QR to 142/12 but cant find any info on them.
 
Absolutely breathtaking, one of his best yet, i have no fear or phobia of heights but some points i was just thinking to myself "nopenopenopenopenope!"

that fence think was mental!
 
tell you what id hate to run into him on the trail..

me - "Hey buddy, do you know how to get back to the car park?"
DM - "Sure follow me..."

*proceeds to hop a 7' gap over a waterfall 15' up*

me - "You're alright mate, I've got a survival blanket I'm sure I'll be fine.."
 
I think that has to be one of his best yet! Epic, epic, epic riding and the fence at the end just added the icing to the cake :D
