Hey supercow, how are you getting on with these forks? I'm after a new set, the obvious choice is the Pike but I'm worried about reliability issues. I was set on the X-Fusion sweeps but can't stop thinking I'll miss no kind of compression adjustment.

I've got the sweep, which I think seems awesome. But I would as the only other fork was a 2009 pike. I like the fact I can't adjust anything, setting up rebound is hard enough for me :p

See there is a new Shan out! Shan 27. Guessing 650b.

Also how cool are their balance bikes?! Can't find them for sale, but wish I'd seen these before buying one for my nephew!

Too right, such is the problem of little supply and much demand....

Still, I got a cancellation so it came 4 weeks early!

Going to take her for a spin around Hamsterly forest tomorrow, and then I'll be up at Glentress this coming Friday / Saturday. Looking forward to it! :D

BPW yesterday

somehow it didnt rain at all - in spite of heavy rain all day forecasts
rides pretty good in the wet (few puddles) anyhow - hardly even noticed

pikes and ccdb were awesome though - really made a difference
new a470 line was good - only clearing about the first four jumps though lol

much better going on a day when there is more than 1 bus too - no more racing the bus back down

That Capra is just plain stunning MattFSR.

@Andelusion: Excellentforks, but i can guarantee you, they will need a bit of loving from factory... i.e: grease the seals and more oil in, both sides. Air side to make it more progressive. They come very linear out the box.
So once that's done, they are brilliant. I certainly couldn't cope with forks that didn't have compression adjustment.

Super, cheers. :) I wish there were more reviews out there, the spec and price put them well ahead of the competition. They should compliment my Yolo nicely :D

So riding a hardtail is totally different to a full sus! Sideways all over the place today, front washed out loads and yet it was so much fun!

probably get a kit from tftuned or alike with all that. Otherwise ebay for the bits and pieces.

TFTuned Refresh kits are brilliant, I've used them a few times for Boxxers that i've owned, did my current set of Boxxers last week, despite only being 5/6 months old and only having limited use, they feel better than they did from new, so much so any thoughts of swapping them out for something else is long gone.

gonna get a kit for for my revelations next month.
