Tyres to replace my terrible mountain kings, Was thinking magic mary on front and hans damph on rear? or maybe just high high roller 2 on front and back? Really not sure been researching for a while now still with no decision haha

There just not confidence inspiring for me at all, front gives way a lot :/ Terrible is probably harsh, there really solid tyres but yea not the grippiest front tyre for sure, and in the wet they are rubbish.

Anyone know if it's possible to buy replacement Shimano XT brake (M785) bar clamps?
I had a super gnarly crash today in a rock garden and snapped the clamp.

Got to love zip ties !!
My buddies did a decent job at getting this ride-able again. Unfortunately I couldn't continue due to a damaged hand.

Sending my ****** off to Tftuned for there service virginity to be broken. I've noticed there not returning back to full travel properly, there at 15% sag from the get go which from a lot of Google-fu is common as negative air build's up and its a simple fix of releasing it by letting the positive air out then compressing the forks to nothing while undoing and pressing in the air side bolt.

Had a nice ride at cannock this moring though, bike is awesome again now i've rebushed the rear and greased all the bearings and joints. Not running a tensioner or guide either so the bike was dead silent and didnt even hint of dropping the chain, though cannocks not the best place to try and drop a chain as its just a lycra wearing XC track compared to wales!

how easy is it to replace gear cables yourself? all the videos ive watched make it look easy but like anything, is it THAT easy when you actually do it for the first time? haha. Also my cables are internal routed through the frame img uesssing thatl make it a bit harder.

Been out on the Cube LTD 29er today.

The traction on the climbs is surreal, like nothing else I've ever ridden, I'm riding stuff I used to walk on my 26er.

Not liking it downhill though, 70 degree head angle combined with bars lower than the saddle is only really suitable for XC race bikes IMO.

I've got riser bars on order, hoping the extra 20mm will help, especially with fork sag.

Love 29 inch wheels though (I'm 6'3")

replacing cables is one of the easiest jobs, as long as there is no internal routing on your frame, just make sure when you cut the outers your measure twice to ensure you dont come up short, dont cut inner cables until you have threaded through and finished setting up the gears again, getting the gears set up again can be a bit finicky, but its not difficult.
just be careful when threading the inner cable through, try not to allow the end to fray as it will make life very difficult.
Try to keep cabling neat without too much excess.

Woops, just read that you have internal routing... good luck:p
