Usually avoid it like the plague, because the landing is on an upwards transition and the slower way around. Not entirely sure why I wanted to go for it, because it really is crap.

Didn't realise it was that jump in FOD. I also had a very close call on it the other month where my back end slid out on take off and I landed so sideways I put my foot through the bottom of my shoe! Its a horrible jump, was quite a nice jump back in 09/10 as I had that in my mind when I hit it.. Oh how times have changed !

Back from a few days away biking. Rode Dalbeattie on Monday. Forgot how technical it is. The skinnies aren't skinny any more. Probably a good thing. 17c and dry...what was going on?

Tuesday. Complete wash out...went shopping instead. :(

Today Ae. Quite worn in places but still brilliant fun. 4c. That's more like it. :D

Decided we need to make more of an effort to ride further away trails more often. Especially when they are this good. :D

Am i blind? I can't see any jump in that video :(

Cow is that you riding? What accent is that?

Doesn't show well in the video as it's entirely flat with an up transition. Also not big at all - just crap :p

Well, there's 3 folk talking in the video, An Englishman (kinda anyway) and two South Africans - I'm the one falling and a little expletive at the end :p

South African :)

^^ Yeap - The dulcet tone of the clipped accent is hard to miss :D

Next time I go, I'm taking a ******* spade with :p

Quite fancy trying AE when I'm back in Scotland over the winter. It's only hour-hour n' half away.

having a nightmare getting my new tyre to sit on rim properly... i pop the tyre on easy enough, put some soapy water on the bead etc then pump it up yet it just doesnt "pop" i heard it pop twice and thought finally but spun the tyre and its just not right :( any tips or tricks to get it sorted?

i put it up to 60 to try and get it to pop.. thatsn when i heard 2 pop sounds. What ive noticed now though my rim tape has come lose underneath.. im using tubes by the way not tubeless. I have no spare rim tape ! :(

Someone on the nukeproof owners thread on pinkbike has just had there new pikes converted to coil as something went wrong with the internals. He said only a 20gram weight penalty which is hard to belive but he said there so much more plush. He's got the first in the uk from tftuned apparently at only £100!

Not bad, I want the travel adjust removed from mine. But being as my rear shock is knackered and I've heard nothing back since... ill not bother..

I think a 200gram weight penalty is closer. I cant see the point as my pikes are crazy plush anyway with no stiction noticable. Lost the ease of adjustability aswell. Apparently some crud got in the air side when he did a self service and its damaged something, cant think what.

Anyone after a 27.5 Troy frame and shock , size Large? (the one with the carbon swingarm)
