Did Inners xc 10k loop yesterday. (rest of trail closed for felling till next year). Took the Sister in law and her boyfriend. She has completed an Iron man. He is very very fit. They struggled. Proof that mtbr's are superior human beings. :D

Tyres to replace my terrible mountain kings, Was thinking magic mary on front and hans damph on rear? or maybe just high high roller 2 on front and back? Really not sure been researching for a while now still with no decision haha

I recently bought a pair of foldable Rocket Rons, evo version,
£25 each (26"x2.1")
very pleased with them, I'm running with inner tubes and I can fit them by hand without a tyre lever.

Pretty light without loosing too much grip.

Where do I stand with my Trek if the shock isn't going to come for a few more weeks? Am I entitled to hand the bike back and have my money back?

just ordered me a new osprey backpack. bit bigger than my CB asset which is a tad too small for my liking. if anyone wants the asset (peat green) then trust me :)

Have you managed to use these in the wet/mud yet? I was thinking of one for the rear with a mountain king two at the front.I've read that they're a bit slippery on roots/rocks.

Just tried to get Enduro bearings for the Cane Cack 40 headset. They don't do SS bearings. Cane Cack 110 bearings (which are the same size at the 40) are over £60 and I'll still have a poorly sealed headset. New headset time. :(

Do not get a mk2 on front.. honestly for wet conditions its not great atall. Im on a high roller 2 now and its soooo much better.. grip grip and more grip.

Are they not sealed cartridge bearings?

Like £12 on chain reaction? Or are you wanting some sort of special 'enduro' bearings?

A (mini) epic pic-story...

What's this? A bit early for the Christmas tree to come out

Only my second ever brand new pair of forks, after having Revelations for a long time, and Devilles & Lyrics before then, it's certainly nice to have a beefy fork again, can't wait for my frame to arrive now but it's going to be a while.

Yes, they are sealed cartridge bearings. But they are complete gash. Had them on the Angleset and replaced them with Enduro bearings. They don't rust and seize every time you cycle through a puddle.
