Thanks bud, ordered a "DH" wheelset for the new bike (i.e: putting the DH casing tyres on her )
Now that the DH bike's been sold, I still want that sure footedness of DH casing...but CBA with swapping tyres over!

Just built up the Tech 4 tubeless ready DS25 wheelset from scratch (I tried to copy and paste link in, but for some odd reason OCUK isn;t allowing me to paste in the comment box!). Just added better spokes and nipples.

Saved me a good 40 bucks off an already great priced wheelset, inc the upgraded bits. (came in at 150)

EDIT:

...its slightly concerning that my custom wheelset’s been built and posted already! :D

I ordered a SeaSucker Talon this morning because removing and installing the roof bars on my car all the time is doing my head in. I'll still use the bars occasionally because my friend's bike is too heavy.

My manager is bringing the SeaSucker back from the US for me at the end of the month. Saved £100 over the UK price :)

Why not just leave the bars on the car???

They make a lot of noise and my MPG suffers. They also make the car look awful which defeats the point of buying a car that I quite like :(

Unfortunately my car was not homologated for towing, so a towbar mount is not an option.

Fair enough - mine stay on permanently. Cost me around 3 to 4 mpg and make zero noise. Aero bars FTW!

I bought the expensive Thule WingBar Edge bars and they whistle :( I've tried readjusting the rubbers but it made no difference. I'm pretty sure that the ProRide 591s are the main problem, but when I removed them the bars still made a noise.

bizarre - mine are completely silent (591's) and never had any sound from them at all.

If you sell them - I might be interested in one more 591!:p:p

Sorry, as much as I hate them, I won't be selling. I will still use them against my will :)

On a slightly different note, where's MrKnifey? :(
