cant vouch for those specifically in the link but ive been running one of their flows on evo switch hubs for coming around to 2 years and had zero problems. original bearings, original freehub, still straight..

Has anyone been to Morzine before? Thinking of going next year but not sure when. Is there a "season", and if so when does it start?

I was eyeing out this accommodation which seems reasonably priced, but it's the almost 11 hour drive each way which starts to make it expensive.

Looking for tips from someone that's been before, thanks :)

5 times here.
Advice, go when the lifts are open (of course), and dont have more than 6 Mutzig, followed by shots at the budha bar. **** gets a bit out of control

Cheers :) Any recommendations for accommodation? FlowMTB (www.flowmtb.com) gets good reviews everywhere but their site is down so I can't see pricing.

Wondering if perhaps it's better to go on an organised trip.

Go to Bec Jaune. Excellent place for some good beer.

Can't stand the stuff, but thanks anyway! :)

We've been out 3 years now and everytime has been self catered doing our own thing. It's not a hard place to navigate around. On reflection the first year was probably the most exciting due to not really knowing what was going on or where each trail was leading us. Go out there, get lost, have a ball and don't fall off.

And drink beer

Was checking the pressure in my reverb yesterday and noticed when comnecting my shock pump I was getting some oil coming out of the valve.

Presumably that's not normal?

Well it's about time I post my bike on here. I know it isn't very flashy compared to majority on here! I normally do road bikes but I was offered a mountain bike cheap so I thought I would give it a go! So onto the spec...

On-one 456SS, Suntour XCR 100mm, some Tekro mechanical brakes with 180mm shimano rotors, SRAM X4 shifters, shimano front derailleur, Deore crank, XTR front derailleur. Not too sure on the rest of the bits and bobs :p

Well I went to Cannock Chase yesterday, was brilliant fun! Did the two red trails there which was an eye opener for me (thanks to my mates for not warning me at all!). What I found out was that my brakes were quite frankly not that brilliant, had loads of setup issues (due to having to take wheels off to get the bike there) which caused loads of brake drag. What are the Shimano Acera M395 hydraulics brakes like? Are they all I will need on this bike? Obviously I am not doing any fast downhill stuff!

I also have an option to swap my fork to a 130mm Manitou Drake, worth it?
