Are you still buying your SC frames from the states? pretty sure i remember reading a while back you imported the last one. If you dont mind me asking where are you getting them from?

I bought my Blur TRc from the US which was then warrantied, then warrantied again after 6 months, and they sent me a Solo this time.

Ive just built my first set of wheels using the Roger Musson book. I built some 35 wide Nextie carbon rims but yet to ride the thing properly apart from a quick spin up and down the road.

Nice one!! That's the book I used to, it was well worth the £9 hopefully our good Karma of buying it will mean our wheels will last for years :D

So I now have a Manitou Drake, does anyone know how to setup a fork correctly for my weight? If it helps I only weigh 62kg.

I find putting the fork at the manufacturer recommendation, riding and then tweaking as need be.

I find I'm still messing with it now and then, but less than I did within the first month.

Done that, had a go with it today and did some tweaking. Already feels much better than my old Suntour!

decided to purchase a Slikgraphics decal kit for the forks and cranks, both looking a little bit tatty after a good seasons riding.
very impressed with the stuff from Slikgraphics that i got before so it was an easy choice.

New Hope Tech XC wheelset set up tubeless with Bonty Mud X and Panaracer Trailraker. One of my Stans tubeless strips was fubar so used electrical tape as suggested by Supercow :) The wheelset came in at 2g less than the advertised weight and about 120g heavier than my old Hope Pro 2 Olympic wheelset. These should be a lot stronger though. The Pro 2 EVO rear hub is 40T and much quieter than the older Pro2 and Pro2evo on the Solo :)

Basic spec;
Large Solo C frame
Marzocchi 350CR
Arch EX & Pro 2 hubs
X0 & X9 gears
Renthal apex stem & answer pro taper bars

Sorry about the rubbish kitchen potato photo.
I still need to set the shocks up and add a few finishing touches. Then it's the test ride tomorrow to see if my wheels explode :p

Anyone got a Peugeot 206 3 door with a bike rack fitted , got a freelander at the moment and just lower the back seats and chuck the bike in.
Got a neighbor who's interested in swapping for my piece of junk but was wondering if a 29er XXL would fit on a rear rack or up top.
