Personal preference depending on how big your hands are, I like Oury's, but I've got big hands.

My hands are pretty much average size

I do tend to use all of the handle bar though and tend to hold on very close to the edge so something quiet large would be an advantage.

Anyone recommend any handle bar grips? Is there a huge difference between brands / types?

Iv'e been using ODI Yeti Hardcore/Lock-ons for a few years now. Soft and tacky.

Some people like to just use foam or even just bar tape. Anything to save a few grams.

its an XL 23.6" effective top tube i'm 6'4" can chuck it about quite well now

Thinking of going Full sus, after France making a mess of my rear wheel hit rocks too hard while going down hill, so I'm Looking at about 140-160mm travel.

Yea, thought cycling would have been a given
It climbs like a beast and handles the decends nicely without being too scitchy, definitely fits squarely in the AM range (would deffo take this bike instead of a XC bike). Specialized does Enduro well!
