Hopefully I'll be getting a £400 insurance payout soon for my stolen Giant Terrago '07. I'm thinking about spending £550-£600 on a replacement. Has anyone got any specific recommendations before I go and test ride some at my local shop?
Who are people insuring thier bikes with? Any decent companies?
Ive got my current bike, nothing special insured on the house insurance upto the value of £1000. Not worth anything near that though. Only a Dawes Oxide '05
Anyway, Im thinking of buying a new bike, around £1600ish. BigHit has caught my eye. Would be better finding a decent insurance company I could insure it with for a reasonable yearly fee.
A BigSh!t you mean
Get a second hand Demo 7 with Triple's imo if youre looking for a SPecialized DH bike.
TBH, it's a good time to buy at the moment, seen so many good deals on Iron HOrse/factory bikes!
I used the Mille maybe half a dozen times this year. And to be honest, the cycling bug has bitten me that bad that any time there is any half decent weather and I've got some time off, I leave the motorbike at home and go out for a run on the Pinarello.
The RSV is just a great big red paperweight that hardly moves.
Time to turn it into cash and go for a Prince, what do you think?.
At present, I own an RSV Mille superbike and a Pinarello FP1.
Was gonna go with the mates from kent, but they cant be bothered, so going down their neck of the words to do Kings Wood in Challock. Would have prefered to do wales.I'm heading over to Wales next weekend (friday to sunday) if anyone fancies meeting up?
Big Hit's not good then ?
Where is a good place to look for second hand bikes like Demo 7's etc.
Im not really bothered to buy second hand, getting a better bike for the price of a new Big Hit!
