Rights guys / bike guru's...

I need you to help me out here. Might know this already but im after a new bike in the coming months.

Ive looked at all sorts and cant really decide what to bloody get. I do a bit of everything really. I just want a bike thats strong and isn't going to break into bits when its pushed a little :p Cant be too heavy either so its not a struggle to get a bit of speed from it but im not one to go like a bat out of hell anyway. Tend to take it easy(ish) and find things to jump off that could lead me hurting myself haha!

Thinking the budget would be upto around £1800 ish. Ive looked around on Southern Down Hill forums, some really nice bikes for sale on there. Just wrong timming. Ive taken a fancy to a few Demo 8's Ive seen on there! Also a couple of Iron Horse's but they were snapped up quickly :p

Just need a great base to build on that will last and I can upgrade when the time is right.

Thanks!

To me it sounds like you want a SX trail, it will do anything yu want and you can build it as versatile or type of riding specific as you want.

I have seen them DH orientated with triple crown forks, I have seen thm FR orientated with Totems, seen them 4x orientated with air shox and pikes. I have seen them with adjusted geo and more rings for heavy duty XC/Single track.

You cannot go wrong with a SX trail, I have had one... brother in law has one, one of my best mates has one...etc. a Total of 5 guys just in my riding circle has one all build up differently.

I'm a big fan :) and I will bet y life you will love it too

I'm thinking of getting some jewelry for my bike :p

Hopefully these snazzy looking jockey wheels wont need replacing this year.

32 quid for a pair

I fitted some of these to my bike well the non ceramic about a week a go paid 19 quid I got them from here use 10% discount code = winterwarmer.

Frame is exactly the same, bar the colour.
The components are just upgraded, the difference you will not notice ( x.9 vs x.0 etc)

The forks... well I prefer Rockshox to begin with, so whether the 36's are an upgrade is debatable imo

well my new BB has arrived so Im gonna fit it, I thought I would give a diffrent brand BB a try so i went with an aerozine skf bearing, I just hope it last longer than 6months.
