I don't know. They are ~150 and I imagine a SS bike to be used onraod/commuter. I'd rather a cheap fork than a high end one since it will end up ****** anyway.

The prices of bike parts in general is stupid at the minute.

Can anyone recommend me a long sleeve jersey suitable for the colder weather ahead? I've been using t-shirts throughout summer and am fed up with them getting drenched with sweat and I'm sure they are going to be even more unsuitable in the winter. I ride a bit of everything, mostly XC I suppose.

I want something that has wicking fabric (or some kind of sweat management fabric!), long sleeves, it doesn't have to be particularly warm/waterproof as I'm planning on buying a waterproof jacket, neither does it have to be especially baggy as the only upperbody armour I ever wear is a pair of forearm/elbow guards.

I've been eyeing up the Endura MT500 Burner jersey: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=19842 would this be suitable? I recently got some Hummvee shorts and really like them (am buying a 3/4 length pair for winter) so have naturally gone for Endura again :)

Hey thanks, never even considered a base layer, it looks like with one of those I can wear what I want on top, a t-shirt for warmer days and a more substantial mtb jersey (like the Endura) for when I need more protection/warmth..Ta!

Picked up my jersey yesterday after pondering over the Fox one I mentioned. Fotunately I was able to pick up a RR DH one on special offer for £20! After riding in t-shirts for quite a while it's surprising how different it feels in a proper jersey. Even though it's a long sleeve it's still surprisingly cool and breathes really well, and I don't find myself getting too warm when riding XC either. Exactly what I wanted from the jersey :)

Which size would you get for a guy who buys large T-shirts? sizes 41-44",
Medium or large?

Just been looking at some of the clothing on that website and I have to say that they don't half charge some rip of prices lol.
£70 for a t-shirt lol, NO thanks i'll just stick to the £8 ones from Burton thank you very much, Somehow I don't think anyone would wear a £70 T-shirt while out riding a bike would they lol.

Back from Hospital - signed off for another 2 weeks and told no sport for 10-12 weeks! arrrgghh. All because of a stupid fractured finger!

On the plus side I picked up my bike today after getting new pivot bearings fitted.
