Yay, another bike for me to look at and not be able to ride!

Excuse the camera phone pic.

Riding buddy's 09 Enduro SL Expert - 1 of 10 in the UK in this lovely Illuminous yellow.

Ex Demo that had only been hired out about 5 times. Not bad for 1100.

There are more than 10 knocking around in that colour - as you mentioned; all of the Enduro SL demo bikes were that shade of yellow.

puncture yesterday so bad that i had to throw the tyre (gatorskin). bought a bontrger hardcase.....puncture today!!!

I wanted to kill my bike in the face. because i had used the spare tube yesterday and hadnt got to the bike shop i faced a lovely 45mins walk.... in the pouring rain.

How the hell did you kill a hardcase? I was getting rear pinch flats on EVERY ride till I put those on my old bike. Never got another flat again. Already had one on the new bike though o_O
Going CaffeLatex tubeless in the not too distant future.

I started to carry 2 tubes every ride because of running the Conti MK SS. Never had so many punctures with those tires. I have never carried a puncture repair kit on rides.

Adam W, I take it you checked the tire for thorns etc? I managed to miss a small nail when inspecting a tire a few weeks ago. :o

I've not had a single puncture since I bought my Enduro SL in May 2008.
That's 950 miles at nearly every trail center in the UK, running the front at 25psi and rear at 30psi. I stopped carrying spare tubes etc over a year ago.

I run Specialized 2.3 Eskar tyres in the summer which are wide but have thin rubber side walls and Clutch SX tyres in muddy and winter conditions.

Ive been using Maxxis Larsen TT's for over a year now without any punctures. I did replace the rear when it got 'worn' with another one, within the week after I must have had around 4 punctures. Very strange. I ended up putting the 'worn' one back on and never had one since. Must be a faulty tyre or I must have been very unlucky for that week :p
