Some parts came for the new build today:

Sweet mother of Christ that's tasty

The crankset alone is more than the frame I'm currently considering.

mmm thats looking nice already, going for a black-grey-white scheme by chance

Thanks. Black/grey/white and blue.

Oh my, if I didn't have a brazillion things to pay for already I would definetly bee in the Market for a LT2 carbon. (I assume that is and BXC? - Small?).

It's a Blur XC Carbon - Medium. I looked at the Blur LT but it is too similar to my Heckler.

pfft no travel on that gonna be a bumpy ride

Carbon fiber will make up for it along with my fat butt!

:p

More parts came today.

Ritchey WCS Carbon bar
Thomson X4 Stem
Panaracer Greenlite innertubes (claimed 90g )
Titec pork rinds

This seems like a good place to ask this question:

Where in London are there good cross country tracks? I fancy doing a bit of mountain biking but don't want crazy extreme drops etc, just a bit of off-roading maybe through some woods!

Thanks

No where, it's a city after all ;)

In all seriousness though, close to London are laods of places, Surrey Hills and Swinley Forest are the first ones that spring to mind.

Go to moredirt.co.uk, type in your address and what kind of riding you are looking for

Weescott, sweet looking build there!

Still is one of the fastest and most stylish riders. I wasn't into riding then, but have since seen him ride in videos. the man is a genius

He was riding one of the original GT RTS/LTS bikes with Rockshox Mag 21's, then Judy DH's back when I first started reading MBUK, man that makes me feel old!

True. A Blur would be a natural replacement for my Heckler. By the way what is the paint quality on yours like? My liquid blue powdercoat is pretty dire, the stickers pretty much shred off after 12 months too.

The paint job is ok on my Heckler. The stickers look like **** now too. The finish on SC bikes isn't the best though. Been the same on both my Heckler's and my Ano Nomad. Turner bikes have a much better finish. At least with the Blur the writing etc is painted on so should look nice for....ever.

Here's my FSR XC Comp. Had it for about 3 months now, changed the handle bars, stem, seatpost, and a few cosmetic bits. Work in progress!

Ignore the position of the seat, only just put it on.

They're not good pics, will try to get some better ones when the bike is clean!

Hope the pics aren't too big!

Clean? It looks spotless from here :D

Nice bike.

LOL, I did clean it before my last ride. However, my last ride only lasted 15 mins before i crashed so not much dirt from that. Luckily i only damaged myself and not the bike! That was middle on October, should be fit to ride this weekend! :D
