Big Bike Thread

Thought I’d give a little update on the Trek Session 8. Having ridden it down one of the steepest tracks in South Wales, done a race and a good day sessioning yesterday I can firmly say it is the best bike I have ridden so far. Feels so effortless compared to my old Glory, Oranges etc. First time I’ve used Boxxers and they feel a hell of a lot better than Fox40's even though they are the base spec model! Weight wise of the bike is not bad at 39lbs bang on, new wheels and some other changes is going to drop this and I’m hoping for around 36lbs. Couple of problems were that the chain device wasn’t properly spaced from the factory, so had to do this myself. The top crown for my direct mount stem isn’t straight so my bars are not straight. Hopefully I’m getting this changed on warranty. So overall an excellent bike, no dents yet *touch wood*.

Just to add, my forks are clunking too. So they are going back next week! :D
