My new ride

Hopefully buying a set of DeeMax wheels for my Session :D Should shave a bit of weight off the Big Earl Weigh a Ton wheelset on there at the moment! :D

Will be taking delivery of my first bike since I was a kid this week and was wondering if there was a decent website that listed cycle routes in England? Had a quick gander but most seem to want money off me :(

The bike is nowt special but it should hopefully get me started and I can go on from there.

Lovely looking bike, enjoy!!

cheers.
Just in the pedal dilemma at the moment, either put the 520's on or get some wellgo V8 copies and some Five Tens, or stick with SPD's but get the M545 pedals so i have a platform pedal.

Descisions, descisions.

Hi guys, anyone have any experience with big sized SPD shoes for my MTB bike? My mate who is a very very keen cyclist says i should get some SPD shoes. I commute about 100miles a week plus MTB ing at weekends. He says i'll benefit massively from SPD's. So now im looking for a 14 1/2 SPD that is wide! Its looking grim, unless i want to spend £110 for a pair of size 52 Sidi Giau Mega Wides. I was hoping to spend more like £50 ish.

Anyone got any suggestions other then mutilating my feet with sharp pointy things?

Have a look here. Most of the routes on there are unofficial and are uploaded by other riders. You might find something you like tho.

On the subject of pedals, anyone had any experience with Straiteline's? I know they're good but just want some personal opinions.

My V12's feel too small under my feet, I'm looking for a larger platform
