Nice vid Supercow, made me laugh lol!

I can't speak from experience, but form the feedback on forums it sounds fantastic.
If you are looking to save weight on your bike even more, then that sounds like agood economic starting point.

Just placed my order for a couple of the Magicshine lights from Dealextreme, cant wait for them!

I just got my set from deal extreme, I ordered the one with helmet mount and the one without it just to see the difference between them.

btw my order took nearly 8 weeks to arrive.

Some new goodies for the Session, SDG Seat and Post, chose a 27.2 post with a shim to save a little more weight. Total saving, 300grams!!!

Just chopped a bit off. Not much mind you! Seat looks pimping on the Trek! Only problem i got it seems the seat doesnt clamp too well? I dont fancy over tightening it, so does anyone else have same seatpost and how tight do you do the post to seat clamp?

I was thinking a new XTR must be due out with some of the stock levels I'd been seeing, plus the 970 version is getting on and they need to compete with XX, it looks like XTR is going 10 speed too. Wasn't expecting a new X.0 though too.

Loving the vid Supercow
You could feather the brake for intense 'walking' sessions :p

Haha, yea :)
Next episode of "The lazy downhiller's guide to:" I'll be copying his lines down singletrack dh runs down my local XC loop. H takes the best lines through berms etc!

Shimano bring new lines out every 4 years. 10 x 3 was inevitable really. I'm not sure if the new XTR can be compared to XX or even the new XO. 10x3 or 10x2? XTR for AM and XX/XO for XC? I have enough of an issue deciding between 11-32 and 11-34, never mind all the new ratio's the new groupsets bring.

Next XTR is going to be a choice of 2x10 or 3x10 apparently. I like the idea of a twin ring setup, might have a play around with my new ride once I've put some miles on her.
