Would they be slower than my fast trak sport tyres?

probably, any tyre with puncture protection is going to be slower and heavier then a "normal" tyre. However it depends on what the roads / trails are like where you are. If they are really bad with glass and debris etc then the time you save not fixing punctures is worth the cost (price and weight). For me, I hate fixing punctures so I run armadillos, I'd probably get them again when these wear out.

I dont know what length you need but I know of only one shop online that has them DT Swiss 1.8-1.6mm

Most stores that build wheels will be able to order them for you.

Thanks, I definitely don't want to buy a full set though as only one has broke, I'll see if my lbs can get me some in.

Aye they're the stock ones on the Enduro, I'm surprised they've using such a light gauge but oh well.

Just got back from my first ever night ride.
Great fun - not a single other person around.
I ordered a 900 lumen light last week and then got a 200 lumen one on ebay to compliment it and use on the road to/from the trails. Got my 200 this morning but still waiting for the 900 so i wasnt expecting it to work very well at lighting up the pitch black woods. It was surprisingly good though, had it mounted on my helmet and had about about 10 metres lit up in front of me.

Cant wait for my 900lumen to come now :D

Hey guys, I'm trying to get back into biking. I currently have a Giant STP but haven't rode it in aaaaaage. I was just doing a bit of a check over this morning and noticed my front forks (Marzocchi DJ3s + Truvativ Hussefelt Stem) move a bit weird, they seem to move forward and backwards slightly, I can't remember them doing that last time I was out on it. Hopefully you guys can shed some light on it.

Cheers.

Well just back from the bike shop and got my puncture fixed for a tenner.

I ordered a pair of crossroads tyres from JeJames but I haven't received a dispatch e-mail so I sent a webnote to cancel the order. I bet they still bloody arrive though lol :)

Is the stem moving with the forks? Your headset is loose and just needs tightening in which case (release side bolts on stem, tighten top bolt, then tighten side bolts up again).

If it's just the forks moving, check if the inner legs are moving backward/forward within the outer legs, or if the movement is coming from the hub itself.

Just what I needed, I wasn't loosening the side bolts before doing the top. :o All sorted. Cheers :D
