I built this up last summer, only managed to ride it a couple of times before it spent 6 months in the garage. Managed to get out on it for a few hours this morning for the first time this year :D :D

Now I just need to get components to build up the S3 frameset also sat in my garage :o

If you're getting wrist pain it sounds like your bike setup is wrong.

Could be:
Too much weight too far forward.
Insufficient sweep on the bar
insufficient support from the grips.

That would be the easy way out, mine is from an infection in my Central Nervous system that's affecting my arms and shoulders and right leg to a lesser extent.

If neurologist is right, its MS.
Im mountain biking since i hated spending last year siting inside getting depressed, this gets me out. I suffer but feel better for gettng out!.

Nice Cervelo. Brother in law is TT'ing on a P3C i think this year.

That's very pretty and I'd love a go an an S3.

I'm seriously tempted by this, especially as I have family in Zambia: http://www.bamboosero.com/bamboosero-road-bike.html

Oo very nice, I was looking at the calfee bamboo bikes but I may have to pick up one of these!

Edit: at $255 shipping to the UK, I don't think I will be getting one unless I go to america!

I have just bought a Garmin Edge 500 GPS computer with heart rate and cadence sensors.

Today was the first chance I've had to test it out and it's an awesome bit of kit.
It has GPS for location recording, all the speed data you'll ever need, heart rate, cadence, temperature and altitude data recording. You can also download other riders courses to follow and compete against them.

Anyway, I completed 3 laps of the Follow the Dog XC course at Cannock Chase, view the data here : http://connect.garmin.com/activity/26338681

I lost the GPS single a couple of times under heavy foliage but it picks up automatically as soon as it can.
I'm pretty pleased with a total time of just over 2 hours :)

Looks like a really nice piece of kit that. I would like one, just a bit too much at the mo. Is there any cheaper alternatives?
What Mountain Bike Magazine did a review roundup of some in the March Edition.

The best budget unit was a Sigma PC15 : £58
Mid Range : Polar CS200 CAD : £112
High End : Polar CS400 : £220 or Garmin Edge 500 : £250

Those are Calfee designed too. He gives the designs to small African bike makers. There is an Eco shop in London that apparently does the proper Calfee ones. Can't remember the name off the top of my head though.

Photoshoppers, I need your help.

I have an itch that needs to be scratched! :D

I'm thinking of anodising my frame and was set on a stealthy black... but I'm starting to think there might be sexy alternatives.

I'm looking for your ideas please. If anyone has some spare time or could knock up colour ideas, of what I colour I can make my frame that would be immense!

Some nice as colours in here

Just back from Caersws RD1 where an awesome weekend racing was to be had! Track had to be changed slightly Sunday morning due to some dangerous ice on the track which took a few, including a mate of mine to hospital with broken limbs. The track also had one of the biggest table tops in a DH track ive ever seen with only a handfull of people clearing it! Managed 12th out of 70 in Senior Cat.. Pleased with that one as i had a big mistake at the top of the track :D
