My Bike is a Giant XTC 16" Frame
May aswell get used to it with a good quality front brakeIt's my first trials bike, gonna get used to the basics first!![]()

what would happen if i put these forks on a frame that was supplied with 100mm forks?

You won't be disappointed with the BB7 - and coupled with the SpeedDial 7 levers (Avid also) they are second to none for a mechanical disc brake. You'll be able to use the SD7 levers for your rear V brake aswell.

it looks like a scooter with pedals - didn't know trials bikes had become so perverted
[old man] in my day we used to use small framed mountain bikes with coke on the rims and be happy with it [/old man]
it must be really easy to throw that kind of thing around though!

About £40/£50 for a caliper/rotor setup, Tredz. (or slightly cheaper on Auction sites)What sort of price are they? I've been told that if i were to change any brake, i should swap the back to hydrolic?

Not sure how you'd put a hydraulic brake on the back - there's no disc mounts on the frame from what I can see.
Your V-Brake will be fine for Trials as long as is good quality.
I should have said, a hydraulic rim brake.*snip*
Even the pro's use a rear v-brake![]()
I was always told to go with a Hardtail compared to jumping into a full suss. FS bikes are more forgiving over HT's.So do i buy a long travel hardtail or would i regret that, or should a buy a budget full sus.
Never knew that! That is a Magura HS 33 hydraulic rim brake.

Upto you though![]()
I'd say buy a better quality Hardtail (Kona, Marin etc) and stick with it until you're ready to go full suspension.

What about selling your Bolinas? Thanks, I have a mid range Marin atm already so im trying to decide if i should stump up the cash to a longer travel HT :|

Kona and Marin aren't good quality? Some words and brands i'd never put together there![]()

If he is riding bigger and faster stuff then a FS is a reasonable option but you need the budget to do it justice.

(just personal opinion of a bike snob
) I know Santa Cruz are no better. Thanks, thats the thing i really dont think i can budget for a big FS then i think why am i chaning my current ride for another HT will i gain anything at all?
Andy

Certainly after the abuse I've given my Marin it should have fallen apart if it's bad quality. It's not that ugly tooYep horrid mass produced ugliness(just personal opinion of a bike snob
