Sell the wee man.

aye - probably easier than trying to sell a bike!!:D:D

looking around there are a few on pinkbike previously and one on ebay just now at £1500. I can't imagine any more than that but somewhere between £1200/£1300 a reasonable thought??

I know these are new prices but frame with no shock is £500 and wheels are around £380 new.

Well managed to chain my rear mech cable! was a nightmare getting it through the frame though, had to fish it out with the old cable by making a hook/loop in it!! I wonder if a magnet or something would work/make it easy?

Also with gear indexing, it changes up the cassette to the largest sprocket fine, but going back down it skips a little, is it a case of turning the barrel adjuster or is a limit screw wrong?

2 weeks in New Zealand was the best trip I've ever done.

Best scenery anywhere and great riding.

Photos like that make me want to apply for the kiwi military more and more!

Looks fun! Hire bikes? Or do you and your gf really have matching bikes? How cute ;)

A riding acquaintance of mine's moved to NZ for a season .... which turned into 5 years now. He's lived in Whistler before then, but said NZ is the best place to ride a bike in the entire world, and I believe him!.

Looks ace 6th, though your matching bikes looks gay :p ... at least put some streamers on yours.

Kiwi military is always looking for us Brits to join ;)

I would've been there already if it didn't mean quite a hefty paycut.

You Brits maybe. No one likes us South Africans :p (even the Brits tried to keep me out!)

I know this is somewhat of an existential / wishy washy type question....but who gives a sht about money. Consider what you're getting out of "less money". You'd pay handsomely over here, to be able to ride that type of terrain, readily accessible to Kiwis, over weekends.

Reluctantly considering the sale of my Titus FTM

I have a c456 hardtail which I use for knocking around general stuff with the wee man and just don't have time to get away with the big bike at all these days. It's barely been used in the last year despite loads of upgrades! :red: :red:

Looking for estimated prices for the bike as a whole but I may consider breaking it down into parts at a later stage.

So titus carbon FTM frame - large - replacement chainstay (rear triangle) done under warranty and only ridden about 30 miles since!

XT brakes shimano new model (max of 50 miles on these)
2 x 9 - slx cranks/xt rear derailer/slx shifters - all new cables and outers
carbon ragley bars
lockon grips
hope wheels - Stans No Tubes Arch EX Red hubs - excellent condition - tubeless with HD rear and NN front.
Ksi950 dropper post
150mm rockshox rev's, 135mm RT3 rear travel.

Very limited use overall - a couple of marks but generally excellent condition.

Any thoughts?

Got to be honest with you, and really mean no offense - but you did ask.

I really don't see it selling for more than 700 / 800.

Prices are that low where you are?

I just sold a 2011 Specialized Enduro for £1075! It wasn't trashed by any means, but it had seen its' fair share of action! (including some OcUK meet lovin')

Clean it, polish it, photo it from lots of angles, big it up in your advert, focus on the lack of use and how obvious this is from lack of scratches, rub marks, pedal strikes etc... stick it up at a higher value and let people bargain you down - makes them feel better. :)

Resell value of Specialized enduro bikes have always been good. Again, no offense, but Titus isn't really on top of most folks' list of wanted bikes.

In a very competitive market, with the onset of a new wheelsize and great value bikes, I really doubt your ballpark indication is attainable matt.

I would love to be proven wrong in this instance. Booyaka perhaps try gumtree and ebay instead of Pinkbike, STW and the like

I've not had any hits in my orbea for sale. Priced it high with the intention of coming down in price.

Rrp was £3k but really looking for £1.5k. Second hand **** just drops like ****.

It's ok no one will even notice you're South African when you move to Aus ;)

Very true, one of the guys from work applied and was pretty much accepted via email. Same trade, limited training. It's been on my mind for a while.

Reference prices, I've been looking at selling my pitch. Crazy that going by sold prices on ebay it's going for the same price I paid for it and more. Some people on pinkbike looking for crazy do. Still not sure if I want to sell it :(

Hoping you guys could help spec me a bike to start out on.

Budget: £400 (Maybe £500 if its a massive difference)
Usage: Trips up to Kielder

Not too keen on going second hand. Anything you's would recommend?

Haven't used a bike in about 5 year! So should be entertaining to say the least.
