its a hard thing to learn once your older to be fair

i learnt to do it as a child so its sort of natural now ( cant get nowhere near as that pic like haha )

i just pull back then lift up feet and lean forward

its hard to explain how to do it to be fair

just forget about it and just hit jumps instead :p

Woo it came! It has crappy pedals though, SPD on one side then a crummy flat plastic pedal on the flip side. I will take the pedals off my old bike for the mean time :) Pictures to come!

Shame it's raining heavily though :(

I went to my local Evans bike shop and bought some DMR V8s. Here's the bike :D

Eek! Just noticed I still have the reflectors on, they'll be off soon enough! :p

They look pretty cool actually  . I was going to get V8s but then saw some V12s on ebay for the same price as the V8s in shops so got them in black. Great pedals and Ive not slipped off once, although i don't do extreme downhill or anything.

Here it is:

Just took it for a blast round the park - I love it! :D

Can anyone recommend a decent, not too expensive, wireless computer?

Doesn't need many features, just speedo, odo and max speed. A trip distance and clock would be useful too. :)

As above or maybe some shimano xts?

What brakes have you tried? All the 3s i have used felt spongier than the 5s i have used.....shimanos seem to share the same feeling from deore > saint.
