Personally I think Peleton is a lot more expensive and simply not as good. (Although I don't know huge amounts about it, but I get the impression it's kind of spin sessions at home?)

Zwift can be done failry cheaply. A Zwift hub can often be got for £400 and a Zwift sub is about £12.99. Get a decent fan and you're about set (maybe a Ant+ dongle... for about £15?)

But don't you need an actual bike? I don't have that either. :p

Upped my steps to 20k plus a day, let's see how long it's sustainable for!
Well, 7 days in, still going! Some days are easier than others. One things for certain, doing 10k steps feels very easy now. Trying to get the majority of steps in early, as it's no fun jogging on the spot or walking endlessly round the house at 10pm. :p

I'm glad there's no scales over here! Not really been eating too much, but there's only been 1 days in the last ~18 days where i've not had at least 3 alcoholic drinks, and that day was when i felt really ill! Especially as a few have been Negronis which i worked out at 350kcal per drink

I think i've convinced myself that now can't continue and it's not a holiday. So i've set myself the challenge of not drinking until Friday and getting back into that habit, like when we were back at home. Just so difficult finishing work and not grabbing a beer. Especially as since the clock changes i get proper sun after work as before it disappeared behind the house.

The extra booze is starting to have an impact though and i can feel i'm not feeling as good as i want, and it's stopping me getting out on the bike early in the morning, so aiming for a real change on that front this week. I don't think the alcohol is helping my foot recovery either as when i aggravate it, it's taking longer than usual to feel better.

One thing I've learned is you can't just stop a habit you've formed over the majority of your life. You have to replace it with something and or make it EASIER to do.
Otherwise you'll just revert back to it instantly when you're feeling low / stressed.
You NEVER get rid of those years long developed habits either, you just find ways to control them better.

Oh yeah i agree, we never really drank in the week when back in the UK, it's just since we came over here that i've started it, so it should be pretty easy to cut out. Just needs that bit of willpower.

What are you adding to that meal to hit the recommended 60-70% calories from fat for keto?
well .. this is what i eat in a day .. 2 slices bacon 6am .. strips of beef jerky to keep hunger away prob about 1-2oz .. main meal at 5pm chicken salad .. cheese .. i'm hitting my own fat hard . 2-3ltrs of water a day ohh and multi vits

It sounds as though you're basically losing weight due to a calorie deficit as opposed to ketosis - however, if it's working and sustainable for you, I guess just keep to it.

Just with what you've listed, it sounds like you'd barely be over maintenance calories.

Last few days i've noticed i've gained 3lbs yet lost a lot of fat from my belly, arms and legs, even going down a hole on my belt which is about an inch, so i can only assume im gaining a lot of leg muscle from all the Zwift cycling.
Yeah I'm not losing a huge amount of weight yet but my body shape is definitely changing, I'm down a notch on my belt too. I'm sure the walking and the 100 squats a day is helping a bit.

Yes I weigh every day at the same sort of time, but only take notice of the weekly trend really. As long as it's roughly in the right direction I'm happy enough.
It wouldn't surprise me if some people gave up after dieting and seeing their weight go up.
