Now you tell us, it's a bit late, well i suppose I could cook tonights meal tonight and eat it tomorrow.
Aren't you all on that Twitter thing? I reluctantly signed up to it last week, followed a few restaurants, and that's when I found out. 20% off discount too :).
Put it in your diary for next year!

Well I'll say Patty & Bun obviously, but Honest Burgers are also very good. Meat Liquor is another one to try, and Byron aren't bad either.

Really? What do you like about it, the trailer park fries are amazing and the toppings on the burger are good. The actual burger all though juicy lacks flavour and the flour soft bun, just isn't good at all
.

Yep that was my main gripe, well my only gripe was the bun actually, quite important though!

Had another GBK in bristol at the weekend, they still top my list by miles, the meat, the bun, everything tastes very fresh and full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Not only the burgers but the milkshakes are awesome so are the sauces they make daily.

What confuses me about this thread is that people are picking up on the price of Five Guys and saying it's too much, but it's pretty much the same as GBK which everyone seems fine with.

Patty and Bun was pretty darn good today. They were out of fries so had their wings instead... they were glorious. Very messy but a really lovely sauce and the meat just fell off the bone!

Happy burger day!

Not here, I think GBK is way overpriced for what you get. It's not even that nice a burger; I was disappointed with the product before I thought about the price :p

Five Guys is at least unctuous and nom, but I think it's just too expensive. I think a McD's double quarter pounder with cheese delivers 90% of the Five Guys equivalent.

I love five guys myself.

I'm quite happy to pay the prices they set, GBK also have an app which nets you free burgers or sides on every other visit.

I paid the same for at Patty and Bun as at Five Guys and it is literally a different league. 5Guys is over priced imo.

For a fast food chain burger it was definitely good, loved the chips/fries too and the Cajun seasoning! Saying that for the price of a fast food chain burger it was also very expensive, plenty of specialised gourmet burger places around for the kind of price you pay there.
