Big ol' Burger Comparison Thread

Went to reds true bbq in Liverpool last week. Had cheese and bacon burger with skin on fries - best burger and chips I've had.

Whenever I go to London, it's on the bus to Victoria Station and since there was a Shake Shack right there, I thought I'd try it out.... what a huge disappointment. It was perfectly edible but no different to stuff straight out the freezer - bland and flavourless. :/

OK, the burger is cheaper than the likes of P&B/Honest burger which I've had before but the fries were 3 quid and they should have been much better than they were.

OK I've a controversial one, went to Falkirk last weekend to a place called the Artisan Tap. Had one of the best burgers I've ever had there and certainly better than 7bone, I am as blown away.
They also had beer from West Brewery (the Glasgow one) which is another big plus.

Another visit to 7bone in Reading recently too, their poutine, although apparently not authentic, is very tasty.

Im going getting one of these this weekend.

There may have been some beer involved that clouded my judgement :o

It was extremely tasty though. Hard to go wrong when you're adding blue cheese and onion chutney/similar.
Smashburger in the US is pretty od but 5-guys is still leagues ahead IMO. just ap pitty 5guys in the UK doesn't live up to the US versions.

Had a GBK today, it is opposite a 5G's but the music in 5G's was horrifically loud so walked out.

Correct choice, had the Don and some skinny fries, very nice.

7 Bone, in Southampton. Shuffle to straight time and dirty fries, both excellent. I went for the banoffee milkshake, found it pretty vile to be honest, should have stuck to the Salted Caramel.

Those fries look rather dry. Need some dirty cheese sauce to be proper dirty fries, surely?

I just learned an Honest Burger is opening up 10mins walk from my house :o
