From 20 mins onwards

Watching that, tracker doesn't seem that clever. Lol

Thank you.

Well, what a muppet.

I know that if a thief wants something, particularly organised crime they'll get what they want but not even making it hard for them is like handing them the keys.

My bike is only five and a bit grand yet I always have alarm, steering lock & a disc-lock on it when leaving unattended. and when at home the almax 3 chain.

Good luck and good choice of bike :D

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a waterproof summer style glove, what I mean is the same sort of thickness and feel of a summer glove but with some thing like a Gortex lining.

I'm not after any sort of insulation it would just be nice to keep the water off my hands some mornings.

Yep loads about, just look for a summer glove with goretex in the name :p:D

One of the best are the held Racetex GTX, which I have. Expensive though.

I bought be because, well... British summers. And I commute in them in.

I'm relieved tomorrow's weather is poor, got another monster session in the tattooist, hopefully shouldn't affect me too much as I want to go out Sunday on the bike.

They look like winter gloves to me :/

After taking off the rocker boxes and re-torquing the head bolts and then replacing the rocker boxes, tomorrow I get to reset the valve clearances, replace all the oil and them my bike will be good to go again for the year :D Oh, I also need a new indicator :p

I've stopped at a fair few places when out on the bike looking for a new set of gloves & nowhere has had a pair to even fit let alone a decent pair that fits. Even those from that link posted above only go up to a 3XL when in shops even the 4XL don't fit me. I know I'll find a pair of 4XL's that'll fit me in the end but **** me I don't half have to search to find kit that fits me as I want it to. Don't even get me started about finding Bike boots size 14/15. Current Boots & Gloves are still sound so hopefully I'll find more before there not.

Bought a Charger/Optimizer off Amazon that came yesterday a NOCO Genius - Link - http://www.amazon.co.uk/NOCO-G1100U...&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
Great price & a lovely little unit, I used it today to charge my new battery up properly & it seems sound, Came with the leads for full time hook up as well to connect for optimizing, Leads & connections seem really well made & has an inline fuse. Loads of safety features listed with the unit to get the most out of your bike battery etc

Did someone replace your hands with shovels!?

I feel your pain with the boots though mine is down to having fat rather than long feet!

Been looking at insurance on the husky 701 sm and the quotes I've been getting back are crazy, like £1200+ crazy.

I decided to call my existing insurer (Carole Nash) to see if I could change the bike on my existing policy, and how much extra it would cost.

It will cost an extra £60 + £40 admin fee(!) My existing policy is on a 125 and cost around £650ish.

It goes to show that theres no logic to insurance quotes, esp as on the comparison sites I checked out Carole Nash was quoting me over £1400 for the husky!

Remember though, you're only paying for the rest of your policy on a different bike, so if you only have 3 months left then that's why it's cheap.

But yeah, I had similar on my Speed triple. Was cheaper when swapping from my Hornet to my Speed than it was to get a new policy

Sun just came out, but it was snowing early this morning when I was sleeping.

When will we get good weather? :(

Edit: next week apparently. My bike might actually stay clean for a couple of days. It's rained on Monday for the last 3 weeks now

I remember when I went in shorts too, I was coming back at night... it wasn't a pleasant experience. :( Lesson learnt.
