But some are "Eh? What's wrong with that?"

Starting to really **** me off all these so called "Near death experiences" that are being posted everywhere.
All I can think is that these people obviously don't ride there bikes that often as most of the incidents are normal every day occurrences when out on a bike.

I don't mind watching compilations of Stupid people like what Tefal posted as they make me laugh it's the "OMGZ I nearly Died, Look at this terrible driver lets hunt him down burn his house down get him the sack from his job vids I'm on about.
Most of the time the Driver is miles away from the bike or the car/van/lorry driver just made an honest mistake.

Speaking of fender extenders. I have one, had it for ages, sat in a box. I want to attach it but don't want to screw it in. Will gripfill do? :p

I've got a tube of Tiger seal & would use that to put mine on.

Am I missing something on that site or is the only payment option Paypal ?

:p Just clicked the Contact details link to email them & there only up Mallory race track so I may as well just go up there when next out & about as it's only about 5 mins on the bike away.

Looks good to me Russ

Gonna screw it on or stick it? I stuck mine with car panel adhesive

I'll stick it I think, I don't like the look of the screws.

looks good that mate.

i used this stuff on mine: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gorilla-Gl...&qid=1461575536&sr=8-1&keywords=gorilla+epoxy

only thing is you need clamps to hold it together over night

What kind of clamps would suffice? I have some plastic notch ones which could be up to the job.

On the webpage it states that the fender comes with both screws and some lovely Gel tape which is ultra strong.

I like it that much I want one for my Fazer. :D

Awesome, seal of approval!

I'm thinking of getting a carbon hugger also, and maybe some renthal bars. I'm unsure if the mounting points are any different to the 03 onwards? I can't seem to find much for a K2 really.

Renthal bars would require a lot of work as the positioning is rather different to the clip ons on the S model.

You'd need to replace clutch and throttle cables and front brake lines with longer ones and possibly longer switch gear wiring and you'd also need some yoke modifications/a new one iirc.

The curvys body wise at least are very different beasts from the pointy so pretty much nothing will be interchangeable.

I have found this rear hugger, it's carbon look if that makes a difference? LINKY

If I go carbon front, I'll go carbon back, but if I can't get a carbon back, i'll probably go plain black all around with a black belly pan.

Thoughts? I think plain black might look better given how my bike looks. Carbon might look out of place.

the amount of people with cameras who deliberately be cocks and block people from merging in when the road is going from 2 to 1 then blare thier horns annoy me.

Bah!

I assume other clip-ons are also a now go? Just looking for maybe wider bars.

The hugger though, I assume that is also different?

Don't know about other clip ons as I've not looked into it.

Yep the swingarm is totally different between the 2 so a pointy hugger won't fit a curvy.

If you're not a member on here http://forums.sv650.org/ yet then sign up, the answer to pretty much any SV question will be on there somewhere and there's some very knowledgeable people on there.

Also a decent sales section.

That vid at 1:43. 3:19, 6:59 is the same one and about 100M away from where I used to live in Millbrook, Southampton (But called redbridge roundabout). You do have to be careful round there tbh

Agreed & I also think they go out there way to get an "Incident" so they have something to post on there Facebook etc

I want to know When did Bikers turn into Do Gooder Busy bodies ? :p
