That's the plan - good bike to get used to a more powerful engine but most likely I'll change it by next summer and it shouldn't lose too much value.

2nd Bike Incoming !!! (Well Fingers & everything else crossed that is)

Honda XR250 with V5 & MOT - Green Lanes here I come.

Came up on one of the Bike Groups I'm on, Will be perfect as a 2nd bike to have some Local & some Green lane fun on.
As it stands the fella reckons it's mine & I've arranged to go down South tomorrow to Buy/pick it up. I'm going to rent a van with a tail lift from down the road & a mate is coming along for a ride & to help if needed. All being well I should be home tomorrow T time with my new Toy. :cool:

Had today off and very nearly went out for a ride. I went outside and it was very cold despite the sun beaming, so I looked at what warm clothes I had. Looked out of the window and it was hailing. Had a beer.

This looks like it could be a very good helmet cam, as good as a gopro, but £150. 1600mAh battery, 4k 24fps, 1080p 60fps, side mounted USB port (they're working on the external mic) and they're a UK company.

Hopefully the video quality is up there with the gopro.

Paid for 12 months tax on the SV650 today. I'm committed now. Gotta keep it for another 12 months...Maybe that will keep me from flirting with CB/CBR1000RR's

They're working on that, so there will probably be a firmware update to enable it.

You want to mount that much further back. In that location the wind noise will be massive.

It won't go anywhere else further back, my helmet is double stitched around the inside so I can't push the clip in.

You've put it between the outer plastic shell and the inner polystyrene haven't you? Normally there's a rubber gasket covering the gap.

It comes with a sticky pad mount, or you can use some 3M dual lock tape like I did.

I really do highly recommend moving it.

Think I'll get another set off rims for it & stick some super moto tyres on them & go dual purpose. Should be a decent little project for me. :cool:

Also... Anybody need a Cheap Bike ? I know off a CBR600F with 19k miles up it & Full MOT for a 1000 quid which is Nowt for what it is & it's real clean, Plastics look lovely. You could stick 5000 miles up it & still get 1500 quid for it, It's in Swansea. Let me know if anybody is interested & I'll hook you up later.

On the same subject, it failed it's (first) MOT today, annoying. Horn doesn't work. I literally don't think I've ever used it in the 2 years I've owned it
