So it's been beautiful all day. I left work at 4:35 today. At 4:33 it started to rain... by 4:37 it had stopped. Nice layer of water on the road just for me. Now, back to nice and sunny. Thanks.

Wow, fair play, it should be decent! I hope the weather is good in Barca for you. It's fairly soon is it not?

So I've made a discovery, my bike is FI (this is not new to me I already knew this!) and if I don't start it within a short time period of turning the key on then it turns over but the engine never gets going. If I turn the key back off and on and then try to start it'll fire up. Is this a common FI issue or is there something I need to get checked out?

Doesn't sound right to me, then again also sounds like it might be one of those weird little things you'll burn through labour charges trying to pin down when you could just fire the bike up when you turn it on.

What bike? Make, Model, Year?

Since changing my gearing to -1 up front and refitting my shorty exhaust my mpgzzz have taken a nose dive, I'm getting around 110miles before my light starts flashing compared to 130 before hand. I'm blaming he addictive nature of higher revs and better noise :D

One of my mates got a cracking deal on a new unregistered 2016 Monster 1200 with Termignoni race cans.
So I went to meet him for the collection, he hasn't ridden in a few years and bought a Sena 20S like mine so we've just been out riding all day until it really started hammering it down this afternoon.

FFS after thinking all my little jobs on Friday went well I had the problem with splitting the old brake line at the rear res from moving it and now I've got a tiny oil drip from either the plug or the filter!

Never had any of these daft little issues in all the other jobs I've done. Balls.

It could be that the fuel pump backs off and the fuel sinks away from the inlet if you leave it so when you go to start it it turns over with no fuel. Next time try flipping the kill switch instead of the ignition key and you'll probably hear the pumps start back up and it'll fire up just fine probably.
