Fantastic roads, covered in cars. Nice twisties often result in sitting behind traffic you can't safely overtake I find.

Cars are really annoying on twisty roads, either they go too slow for fear of crashing or break way too early and end up travelling way below the limit. This causes you to get impatient and do risky overtakes.

Surely you've got the peak district and fantastic roads on your doorstep? Unless every road now has speed cameras?

If there are, I'd want something like an adventure bike that you can throw around the lanes and pothole strewn roads rather than seeking all out speed on a sportsbike.

Pretty much this, lots of police, lots of cars in the summer, I did Fort Lauderdale down to the keys on a Harley last new year and while the Harley was crap I enjoyed the experience, So giving the Indian a try, I have a feeling it will not be as nice as I think tbh but no harm done in trying. Failing this plan was thinking about a 990 SMT or a Superduke :)

Nearly hit by cars about 30 times today. The sun really brings them out. I have to say that (in my experience) male drivers generally seem to realise theyve been a tit and apologise, while females will sit there mouthing off into their mirrors. Sorry for the rant.

I find most people just stare straight ahead and act like I don't exist even if I am close enough to reach through their window and slap them.

Got hit by a car yesterday (hit my rear tyre with his bumper), only a little bump... was on his phone and it was in London. Checked the bike, everything is fine, no mark on the car either so let it go.

Should have been like

If I tipped over with the bike, I wouldn't let him go. I would claim through his insurance, it was in central London so plenty of cameras there too. :)

I've met crazier people than him, he just makes his videos look flashy and enhances most of them via heavy editing. :)

Anyone ever heard about the "loop of death"? I've translated it, not sure if there's another word for it...

Saw a Street Triple RS in the flesh yesterday. It's so much nicer than the pics I've seen online. The quality and finish is amazing. I think the only thing I don't like are the mirrors but everything else screams quality. Very tempting. I think the salesman said it was 10k. I need to get a test ride booked on that and a Superduke and make a decision!

I would give it a year or two, first batch isn't always great and because its a new model you always pay a premium for it.

That's mt10 price territory.
